It's very easy to use
I really liked this voice recorder because it works very well. The quality of the recorded audio is excellent. Something I love is how well it reduces noise. The voice activation also worked perfectly. It's small, the battery lasts a long time, and the app is easy to use.

False advertising
When you plug it into the computer after recording, you will see a "Recorded" folder where your recordings are stored and a settings file. The settings file is just a text document and it does not control anything. You can type in the current time and 5 hours later when you open the settings file the same time is displayed. The default settings in the settings file indicate voice activation 'on'. However this device is not voice activated at all it records immediately when turning it on. The so-called time settings do not impact anything even after changing the time according to the instructions. The timestamps on your recordings will be incorrect. This is a terrible device if you are looking for something that is incognito that will only start recording when there is voice activation. You will have to fast forward for hours to get to what you want. The manufacturer is simply hoping that people will be satisfied that it at least records and won't care about the advertised functionality that clearly doesn't do not waste your time and money. a voice-activated recorder
I bought this small audio recorder and I like it because it's very discreet and easy to carry. The voice activation is very convenient and the audio quality is quite clear. I also like that the recordings can be transferred to my phone for easy listening and organization. It comes with headphones and two phone adapters. I've found it very useful in my work meetings.

Great for everyday use
This voice recorder definitely comes in handy and it's smaller and more portable than the devices that we used to use back in the day, with the added benefit of not needing to purchase anything extra to be able to use it. With 2,000 hours of available recording time, this little bugger stores quite a bit of information, perfect for the college student that wants to record all of your professor's lectures for a semester or the business professional that wants to keep minutes for a work meeting. The device will even work well for those wanting to do a little spying and/or recording of phone conversations. (Due to it's size and an internal magnet, it can be attached to something metal and small enough to be inconspicuous.) Using the device is relatively simple as well: You charge the device and then slide the button to the "on" mode. That's (mostly) it! Charging the device is simple, as it uses a USB connection, meaning it's rechargeable/doesn't require batteries, which is another plus; and you can achieve a full charge in a couple of hours. For playback, you have the option of downloading the recorded wav files to a computer or you can also listen to them on the included headset. (You can also delete files using your computer and/or headset, too.) This recorder also has a "reset" button, which can be activated by using a paper clip. When you initially set up the device on a computer, you set the device to how you want to use it (more on that in a minute). You can also set a date and time stamp. Probably the that makes this device stand out is the option to set it to activate when it hears a sound, (cutting down on "dead air" space) or you can set it to record continuously. Either way, your recording will come out clear and the volume on the headphones can be adjusted to reflect how loud or soft the recording is. Not that many people would likely use this feature, since most of us likely have cellphones; but, the booklet also mentions the ability to use this device as an MP3 player. That might come in handy if you don't have/want to use your phone or as a much less expensive alternative, especially for little kids to use. (The metal case looks like it could take a bit of abuse.) Overall, this is a solid investment. It's small and portable (see pics), it comes with headphones, adapters, charging cable, and a carry case. (Basically everything that you need to be able to use the device...minus a computer if you choose to store your info that way.) It's also magnetic, so you can (covertly or otherwise) stick wherever there's metal. In addition to this being handy, the option to be able to utilize the device in "voice activated" mode is a game changer! Try it today!

Good performer for quicik audio recording
I purchased this to help record longer conversations where we did not have Zoom or Teams active. The package comes with the audio puck, the USB-c to USB-A charger and data transfer, as well as the dongle to listen to recordings directly from the audio puck. I subjected this to some live tests: at my conference, in a private room with speakers as well as on the show floor during regular show hours. There is only one slide button to power it on (which starts recording immediately) and off (to stop recording) The results were generally good with a few caveats: *In a quiet room, I recorded a couple of conversations. To access the conversations, i first listened with the included dongle plug-in and my headset - no computer. Doing so this way ended up with subpar results - I heard a louder electronic hum / static which sometimes was louder than the conversation (the puck was between 2 ft and 4ft from speakers). I then used the USB-c to A cable to connect to my computer. I have a dual boot ubuntu and WIndows 11 system. In Ubuntu, I could see the files on the drive (in the off position) as .WAV files (not mp3 or other formats). However, WAV playback was not recognized in Ubuntu 22.04 (and could not find a software) but was successful using VLC. Similar situation with Win 11 - the built-in player did not recognized WAV file but VLC did. I then chose to convert to mp3 using VLC, and this worked well, and could now move files via usb drive. Also, following VLC playback and mp3 conversion, the playback was better (no hum) and more intelligible. I then took an advanced step and used Perplexity to try to transcribe the audio upload. It did a decent job, enough for me to create a summary. *Next test case: a noisier environment, the event show floor. As above, files are recorded as WAV and playback was ok, though much more noise from the background of the attendees and discussions. I converted to mp3 and again tried perplexity to parse a transcription. Unfortunately, due to the background noise, Perplexity was not successful in transcribing. So I spent over an hour listening to recordings and manually capturing key notes. There is no AI to help reduce background noise and clean up the rest of the audio, nor is there an app to transcribe. Battery seems to last at least a couple of hours. The audio puck also has a weak magnet so it could attach to the iPhone, but it is weak and if upside down, would fall off.

Works amazingly
This recorder works amazingly. It picks up the slightest noises and starts recording on its own. It’s small easy to hide light weight and the magnet is very powerful.. I would say the earphones are good, but the cord seems to break easily which then makes it hard to hear you have to play with the cord to be able to hear. That’s the only negative I have found.

BEWARE: On, off, Reset button is awful
I haven't even tried it yet. But have a3 star because of the back when I went to make sure it was off so I can charge it i noticed that when your putting it on off it EASILY switches to reset. I tried several times to put it in off and it would stay on (I know because the indicator light is still on) or would go to reset. I bought this to record extremely important church meetings. And now I'm afraid I'll reset it and loose everything when trying to turn it off so I can connect it to the computer! Therefore, this will not work for me at all!!! I'll have to run and buy another one right away. I wonder if I should've given a lower rating than 3 stars. This is the worse rating I've ever given on Amazon smh

CAN NOT USE WITH IPHONE OR CHROME BOOK READ ADDENDUM!
Check and be sure you are able to use this. What they don't tell you is that in order to use all the functions, you have to hook the microphone up to your computer. They show a photo of a cell phone being used, but you can not use an iPhone to to get to the menu, settings, or anything else. Also you can not use it with a chrome book, You must have windows. ADDENDUM : After seeing my last review, the company wrote me an email apologizing for the bad product and description of it. They said they would send me a new and improved version, that I could not only download to my phone, but also to my chrome book. I got the product and tested it out. I can't download it to my phone, and when I try to download it to chrome book, I get a message saying that chrome book does not support the products operation application. In other words, I can't use it on a chrome book. Then I looked at my first recorder and compared it to the second recorder they sent me, and all they did was send me back the same recorder. Think I am done with this company unless they can REALLY wow me.

Great little voice/sound recorder
The Elasound 132G mini sound recorder is an amazing little unit. Quite small, but very powerful. The description says that it has 9600 hours of recording time. That's a crazy amount. I don't think I will ever be able to fill this baby up. Very easy to use. Just turn the switch to "On" and it starts recording. You can set it to Voice Activated Recording, or Continuous Recording. Great for lectures, conferences, concerts, recitals, or wherever you want to record speech or sound. It also has a magnetic base so that you can attach it to metal objects and let it record without having to hold onto it. Long battery life as well. It touts 70 hours of recording time. With that capacity, you don't have to worry about the battery going dead in the middle of your concert, unless that is you forget to charge it ahead of time. :D You can either copy your recorded files from the device onto you computer in order to play them on your computer, or you can play them directly from the sound recorder. You can also use it as an MP3 player. Just load your music files, or what ever MP3 or WAV files you want, from your computer onto this device, and you can carry it wherever you want and listen to music with either earbuds or plug it into your stereo to play music. The headphone jack adaptor has controls on it for volume, play / pause, and go forward / back. Also comes with standard USB to USB-C and USB to Lighting adaptors. Great and easy to use little sound recorder.

A Must-Have for Professionals and Students Alike
I am seriously impressed with this recorder! The massive 9800-hour storage capacity is beyond convenient—I never have to worry about running out of space. The AI triple noise cancellation is no gimmick; it delivers incredibly clear audio, even in noisy environments. Whether I'm recording meetings, interviews, or lectures, the quality is consistently excellent. The one-touch recording and voice activation features make it super easy to use on the go. I also love the USB-C connectivity for fast file transfers to my laptop and phone. The included accessories like the mic, headphones, and OTG cables are a fantastic bonus. Battery life is a game changer—100 hours of recording on a full charge is impressive, and the fact that it saves your recordings automatically when low on power is a thoughtful touch. Finally, the carabiner design is really clever—I can clip it to my bag or keys and carry it around effortlessly.
