These types of lamps make me feel like I've been transported back in time. This one was easy to assemble and works perfectly. It looks like it's made of good quality materials, and I absolutely love this purchase.

I bought this for my 12 year-old niece and she loves it. It reminds me of when I was growing up brought a lot of good memories back. It is built very sturdy and the design is beautiful. I love that. It has the different lights. It functions well and has just amount of brightness. Great gift great value for your money.

This lamp worked great until it didn't. I would use it for a few hours every day (making sure not to get even CLOSE to the recommended maximum of 10 hours), and it functioned just as advertised. Then suddenly one day when I went to turn it on, there was a loud *pop*, which I can assume is the heating element breaking, since the RGB still works. I'm not going to risk using it again to see if it warms up, since I'd rather not have electrical hazard running. The room it stayed in was constantly air conditioned to 74 degrees fahrenheit, and it was sitting atop a bookshelf at eye-level, away from any heat or sunlight. It just randomly crapped out.

When I was a teenager, I had a lava lamp, which I never really enjoyed. When I replaced the bulb for the first time, I put in a very powerful one, and the lamp exploded from the pressure and heat. I never had one like that again, and I was always nostalgic. Now that I bought this one, I've remembered those days again, and I'd also forgotten how beautiful they look in a room. I highly recommend it; it never goes out of style!

My daughter saw one and had to have it. Takes around an hour to heat up, the it goes! My daughter stares at it for long periods. Just loved it. Feels well made and has a cool remote that you can change it's colors at will. Looks great.
