All the desks that have these built in were either so tiny as to be useless to me or way out of my budget when I was getting a desk. This is really great to get now so that I could have a slide out without having to replace my desk entirely! It did take a bit of time to put together (really pay attention to the pictures and what way things should face, I absolutely put a part on backwards accidentally and then had to go back and fix it later), but it is sturdy and a good size. I really like the fact that you can adjust how tall or short this is under the desk. The price at the time of this review is $59.99 with a $25 off coupon, which is a really great price in my opinion. I think even without the coupon this would be worth the price. Very happy with this!

This keyboard tray requires some assembly. The tray itself is quite wide so make sure it fits your desk. The tray came in two pieces that you must first connect together with the supplied hardware. This was not a big deal but I wonder why they didn't just make it a single solid piece, maybe for stability and rigidity reasons. Attaching the rails and clamps were not too difficult, but I had them on the wrong sides initially so it was annoying having to unscrew them again and basically start over. The illustrations were somewhat small and hard to see the correct positions for installation. Besides that, the tray clamped into my desk very easily. The tray can adjust height, but you would have to unscrew the clamps from the tray and re-screw at a different height. Not ideal but once you have it set to your height, you shouldn't have to unscrew it again. The tray feels solid and durable, but it's is not as smooth sliding in and out as I would prefer. It has a simple, clean design and functions as intended. The tradeoff for having a removable keyboard tray is that the top of the clamp is on your desktop space, but they are wide enough apart that they don't get in your way. Overall this is a decent value for the money.

Our home had a build in desk that was made with some kitchen cabinets and counter top but it was too tall to sit at and be able to type for a long time comfortable. This was the perfect solution. It mounted to the countertop easily and is super secure and sturdy while using it.

This is a very large and heavy unit, definitely big enough for any keyboard. The roller slides are the weak spot of this unit, putting the whole weight of the platform and keyboard on about 3 inches of roller. When I clamped it to my desk and moved it forward the first time, the support platform fell to the ground and the floor was covered in ball bearings. The clamps are really large too. They would not be easy to work around, even if this unit had not self destructed. I will be returning this unit and finding some other brand and design.

Directions are missing entire letters, mirrored not built correctly, screw holes do not fit screws. An overall real crap job and even the end result is backwards when attempted.

My desk is just a rectangle deal, and I found I was too close to my monitors for hours every day. This keyboard tray attaches securely to my desk and is sturdy enough to type on. I liked that I didn't have to drill any holes, and the sliding action for pulling the tray out is smooth. I really like this, and my eyesight does too!EDIT: after using this for a few days, I have to alter my rating. There is no space for my mouse on the tray, so I have to reach up to my regular desk. There is no divot or valley when you pull the tray out to its terminal position, so it slowly rolls back under my desk which is INCREDIBLY annoying. There is also no guard on either the front or back end of the tray, so nothing stops the keyboard from moving or even falling out of the back. There are better options to suit this purpose, I have to say.

This keyboard tray is extremely well-made, not just for the price, but in general! For only about $35 with the coupon, the quality of this tray easily eclipses my previous plastic tray that had cost me literally the same price!It's extremely sturdy and has enough flexibility for use with corner desks as well. Plus the textured black finish is great for my mouse without a pad (although I'll likely still ones one). I wanted this primarily for my multi-tasking needs. I work off of two different laptops throughout the day, but can't stand typing on a laptop keyboard, even if my Lenovo laptop has a great feeling keyboard. Now, I don't have to compromise and can easily work on both laptops simultaneously in comfort.If you're in need of a keyboard tray, your search is over. This thing is phenomenal!

The only thing I don’t like about the product is the fact that you can’t fit mouse mat as the dimensions are different, so I had to get a small one and cut it down to fit
