I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else who’s reading through reviews like I was. Before buying, I looked closely at the ingredients and even reached out to the company. They responded quickly and sent over the full Certificate of Analysis, which gave me peace of mind. I always ask for that kind of info when trying something new that’s going into my body. Yes, it includes ingredients like magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide, but those showed up in a bunch of other top branded supplements I looked at too. They’re used in tiny amounts to keep the capsules stable and consistent, which honestly made sense after I did a bit of digging. I’ve been using Akkermy for a couple of weeks now, and I already feel less bloated and more regular. I also just feel more in control of my appetite, which was a big reason I wanted to try this. Ok so I purposely waited about 2 wks before giving a review on these to make a proper assessment. But man, when I tell you these things WORK! They really do work! And I really try not to buy into the hype of all these "magic weight loss pills" or other weight loss supplements on the internet, at least not until I experience them first hand, but these things really and truly are magic! Anybody they REALLY knows me, KNOWS I snack like nobody's business and honestly, that was probably where over half my calorie intake was always coming from. But after taking these for almost 2 weeks now, I can honestly and truly say my seemingly insatiable snack cravings have all but disappeared! I'm LITERALLY not even craving all the sweets and snacks that I normally would anymore, let alone barely even thinking about them. And not only that, I've been feeling a bit more energetic than I have in a long time too! So if you're looking for supplements to truly help you manage your weight, take it from someone who's skeptical about almost everything (especially stuff like this) and look no further than these pills right here! I tried this for 3 months, and it just didn't work for me. Doesn't mean it won't work for you, but the effectiveness and quality of the product is questionable as it made me feel more bloated.

I read other reviews stating that it caused constipation but I wanted to give it a fair shot. I hate to say that those reviews were correct. These supplements caused me to get backed up and my appetite did not decrease, in fact, it kind of warped my appetite where I am a bit more hungry than usual.

My wife’s Review: Updated I’ve been taking these along with a Berberine supplement. I do feel like these work, but there is an adjustment period for your body. Digestion improved quickly. It did minimise my appetite quickly as well, but there were some ups and down as my body adjusted. My appetite minimised, then it seemed to increase. After almost three months, it’s now stabilised and my appetite is much lower again. I’m still eating fine, but feel much better if I eat smaller meals. I have lost a little bit of weight. However, I’m not sure if this is related or if I have another health issue. A couple weeks after I started taking it, I developed upper abdominal pain. I started thinking it was gallstones or pancreas issues. I stopped taking for a few days, didn’t make much pan difference. The pain has been coming and going for a couple months now and I’m still taking this. I did research and can’t find anything at all about this being a potential side effect. So I don’t know if it is the pills or another health issue as I haven’t seen a doctor yet. But perhaps something to be aware of. But I’m happy with the lower appetite and little weight loss. Update: The stomach pain eventually did all go away. But the effectiveness of this also did. It did work well for a few months now it seems ineffective.

I’ve tried a lot of gut health supplements, but Akkermy really stands out. I love that it’s built around Akkermansia to support the gut lining, which honestly makes so much sense when it comes to cravings and overeating. Since taking it, my digestion feels calmer, bloating has gone down, and my appetite feels more balanced throughout the day. I take this stuff 2x a day and it keeps things flowing regularly. I don't know if it helps with the weight loss. I thought the first few weeks it may have but now not sure. About 2 months after starting this probiotic I started taking Tirzepatide so can't attribute any weight loss to just this product. It did help with loose stools before I started on the Tirzepatide.

I took one capsule everyday for a month and while I did notice a slight change in appetite going down, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT IF YOU TAKE OTHER THINGS THAT CONSTIPATE YOU. TMI but I feel people need to know that Akkermansia can dry out your intestines and cause hard pebble-like stools, specifically if you take or use other things that can constipate you. After 2 weeks of using it I had a restroom session that was so bad every time i'd try to pass it my heart would race and my face and hands would go numb. I took a stool softener (took too long to work), a suppository (did nothing) and then eventually had to do an olive oil enema. Thankfully that time it worked, though I never thought it was the akkermansia that did that so I continuted taking it. 4 days later while using the restroom the same thing happened except NOTHING worked, even the olive oil enema. It was so hard and dry that I couldn't just try to squeeze it back up so I was crowning for an hour on the restroom having a panic attack until I call my dad and ask him to take me to the ER. Already been a long story but long story short, they had to infuse soapy water into my colon to get it out since It created a fecal impaction and my intestines were bone dry. One of THE most uncomfortable 3 hour ordeals of my life, and found out it was the akkermansia after a quick google search which described the stools they'd cause were the exact ones I had. Just beware of your other medications before taking this.
