I already have an Ergotron HX Premium Heavy Duty Monitor Arm, which is twice the price of this. I didn't really want to spend that kind of money again, so opted for this. I was quite surprised at how good this is. It easily supports my 38" ultrawide that weighs 8kg. It's easy to put together and has all the tools you need. It also includes some extra components that let you lift the VESA plate away from the monitor slightly... which for me was needed, otherwise it wouldn't have attached easily. Very sturdy so far... also came with a free coaster which matches my desk!

Perfect for super ultrawide monitors
Do inspect the packaging when received from Amazon - the item should be wrapped in clear plastic. Else, this might have been a returned item to Amazon. If you encounter parts missing from Amazon returns, this isn't a fault by the manufacturer and any number of things could have happened between the return process, buyer and Amazon. That aside, the monitor arm holds up well - parts are high quality, sturdy and weighted, there is no wobble, and plenty of modular configurations to support how you wish.If you are deciding between monitor arms - This pole config allows mounting monitors at a higher height (or have it flushed level with the table) as the non gas / pneumatic piece can slide up and down, compared than other arms with a fixed angle for the non gas/pneumatic which does not allow for any adjustment. It also modular and can future proof your configuration if you need another monitor in future. For thinner tables, get a reinforcement plate also from the same manufacturer as the parts are heavy.Manufacturer support is also pretty good, send them a message and they will respond quickly.

heavy duty arm, add on arms available
Very good, heavy duty arm. Cable tray under arms, easy clamp setup. Sturdy and able to adjust. Add on arm attached easily, holding 2x 34" monitors. All tools included with bonus drink coaster. Thank you!

For all Ultra Wide Monitor Owners
This a must, you will not be dissapointed - i stacked two 49' Ultra Wide Curved monitors (Samsung G9). I was researching for a while and come across this mount. As soon i opened the packaging it felt like that this a premium product due to its packaging and design. To be frankly honest i did not have any hopes due to the lack of options available for my monitors (until i seen this mount). I was soo wrong, this product is well built and engineered for some serious weight and with its multiple arm settings it is perfect in every other way and above all within the budget, my previous one were from Ergotron (i think thats how you spell it) they were also quality but pricey but didnt quite sit right with me in terms of the arm mechanism. The tension levels on the arms are amazing my monitors havent moved a mm - i was actually expecting the monitors to be on the desk the following morning, surprisingly everything was fine and intact. The only slight improvement which the mount could benefit from could be the cable management desgin but honestly you will not be dissapointed!!You guys at Rep Lab Consulting, could you please send me out a drink coaster please??Sorry to be cheeky but that is also designed to high standard lol!!

Solid product with no discernible Monitor Droop.
This thing is built like it’s intended for military grade deployment, even before you get it out of the box it feels reassuringly heavy and solidly built. It easily accommodates a 49” super-wide OLED panel and the mechanism holds it rock-steady. Cables can be routed through plastic covers along the arm for a clean and tidy desktop, the price is at the higher end for such a monitor arm but I feel it’s good value for the peace of mind that the product inspires. Purchasers should ideally have a second pair of hands available to assist with setup on larger monitors as attaching the monitor to the arm can be a little fiddly without someone to help guiding the screen into position.

Seems to hold up
I've had it on an Acer Predator X35 ultrawide for about a week, that's £13kg without the stand, and it seems good so far.

Defective or just weak metal ... can't tell but be aware
In gwneral is a good product but look like there is a flaw with the metal bracket for the base. The material is not that strong or i got unlucky and have a bend one. Didn't noticed until i finish the setup.Be careful and bear in mind it is not the best for the amount of money which you pay and if you use like me 2 49" could be really dangerous if that clamp bend more or just didn't hold...Maybe i got unlucky but look like have to be vigilant

Awesome, beware of expensive imitations.
Beware of far more expensive imitations. This thing is built like a tank and holds my 49" Samsung Odyssey with ease.Very easy to assemble and adjust, it comes complete with all the required tools. 2 people are recommended for mounting the monitor but I managed ok on my own.Build quality and finish are outstanding and as soon as you feel how heavy this thing is you know you are getting a top quality product.Save money and do not hesitate purchase this. Highly recommended.

Clamp bent after 1 week of using it
i was planning to mount an LG 45inch 5k2k + my Samsung Odyssey neo g9 (49inch) with this Monitor arm (+ the extra arm), and i thought it was perfect. However, while i was preparing the Monitor arm for the 5k2k (havent received it yet), i noticed that the pole was leaning a bit forward, and after further investigation i saw that the clamp was BENT. Ive only had my neo G9 (11kg) on the Arm (the arm was mounted as low as possible), and not even 2 Monitors. Ive issued a replacement Clamp and will update the review once ive heard back from ultrarm, but so far i sadly cant recommend it. Maybe i was just unlucky, or it simply cant hold the weight (the Arm with the Monitor pointed to the right side, just like in the Images provided by Amazon)Update: i'll receive a replacement unit for free

Premium build-quality, heavy-duty steel, excellent articulation, a worthwhile investment !
I’ve long avoided monitor arms due to concerns over stability, stiff articulation, and potential desk damage - mostly because I had zero experience using one. High-quality arms also require a non-trivial monetary outlay, intricate assembly with precise tension adjustments to get the articulation just right. This all added to my hesitancy. However, when my wife retired, her desk shifted from a professional workspace to a crafting and entertainment hub. She needed to reclaim the desk space taken up by her monitor stand and this finally prompted me to buy one. I documented the assembly with a video and photos to help anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation and as hesitant as I was to make the leap. The EquipmentMy wife's current monitor is a 27" model weighing 4.4 kg (without the stand). Because I plan to eventually upgrade her to a 32" or 34" monitor, I wanted a solution with plenty of capacity. The Ultrarm Monitor Arm fits the bill perfectly. One could say it's an over-engineered solution for my requirements. My philosophy has always been to favour an over-engineered, high-capacity solution to ensure the job gets done once and for all.My wife's desk is 2.5 cm thick MDF with a wood veneer. For peace of mind, I also purchased the Ultrarm Steel Monitor Mount Reinforcement Plate to disperse pressure and prevent desk surface damage.Unboxing & AssemblyThe premium build quality became apparent during unboxing; every heavy-duty steel component was well-protected with excellent finishing.I took my time to plan the assembly to ensure it was mistake-free. The detailed manual outlines different paths depending on your monitor's weight and your choice of mount (C-Clamp vs Grommet). This is when I appreciated the precise engineering of the components. Every part fitted perfectly. While the kit includes a wide array of VESA screws, I simply reused the screws already on my monitor.Performance After One MonthAfter a month of daily use, we couldn't be happier. The construction is rock-solid, articulation is smooth, and the tension adjustments work perfectly - even though our monitor sits at the lighter end of the arm's weight capacity. This arm easily earns a 5-star rating. The ultimate test of satisfaction is whether you would buy it again, and for us, the answer is a resounding yes. What Wasn't Tested:• Grommet mounting (used the C-clamp instead).• Internal cable management (our PC sits on the opposite side of the desk).• Heavy monitor adjustments (tension tuning for monitors over 10kg uses a slightly different install path).Pros• Premium Build: Sturdy, heavy-duty steel with excellent finishing. I fully expect many, many years of service.• Great Documentation: Clear, step-by-step printed manual with a decent size font!• All-Inclusive Kit: Includes all tools, plus a wide range of VESA screws and spacers.• Clever Storage: The clamp features an optional clip-on housing to hold the adjustment tools for future use.• Smooth Movement: Excellent stability with flexible tilt, rotation, and height adjustments.• Future-Proofing: For us, the available weight capacity leaves plenty of room for future monitor upgrades.Cons• Loose Tool Clip: Not a huge deal, but I found the plastic tool storage attachment unclips easily if you accidentally brush past it. This happened only during my clumsy moments.• Intimidating Assembly: The process can look a little daunting to beginners like myself, but a bit of upfront planning and reading will ensure a smooth installation.

Davvero felice

A tank of a monitor arm
Does exactly what it says on the tin. This monitor arm is a powerhouse when it comes to holding larger monitors, especially ultra wides. I’ve been through a number of arms in the past and always decided against them because something was always lacking. But this ticked all the boxes. If you’re in the market for something more heavy duty, look into this one. I know the price deterred me a little in the beginning, but honestly, you’re paying for premium and that’s exactly what you get with this.Well worth the investment.
