Gamo PCP Pre-Charged Pneumatic Air Rifle with Multi-Shot Magazine .177 .22

Excellent air gun. Definitely buy an electric air pump as getting a hand pump to 3000 psi is quite the effort! With a good scope properly aligned it is very accurate with repeated shots hitting the mark. Just keep the pressure up in the last geen zone. Ten shot mag easy to load and never had a pellet jam. Just remember when you reload the magazine to clear the barrel with a long thin wood dowel if there is a pellet still in the chamber or you will very likely jam the barrel when you double load.

This is my first air rifle. Given that it's not expensive, I wasn't sure what to expect. Turns out, I'm very happy with it. Lots of power, not very loud, and it's very accurate with the factory open sights. I did have to spend just a few minutes adjusting the rear sight. But literally only a few minutes. The sights are very nice with the fluorescent dots on them. If you're going to pump it up by hand, it is a bit of a workout. However, you get a fair amount of shots once you've filled the cylinder with air. And I can use the workout. The gauge on the end of the air cylinder is nice.

Perfect intro to pcp. Also very powerful and accurate. Makes a good night varmint gun.

This Gamo Arrow is sweet! It is so well made and light as a feather…5lbs. I bought the .177 cal and it is amazing how well it shoots, how quiet it is, how little kick back there is (none really) and how many shots you get…like over 50! I had to buy another magazine which is fine, and the air connection is a little tricky for large fingers, so it takes some getting used to. Overall, a very nice rifle for me to eliminate those little critters eating our veggies!

Quiet and accurate. Well wirth the money

This is my first PCP air rifle. So my review is based on the 10 or so magazines I have went through. Another thing is I rarely review unless the product is outstanding or seriously disappointing. The lack of comprehensive instructions is abysmal mostly for the fact that this is an entry level PCP and therefore many people like myself who have never even held pnumatic air rifle would benefit from detailed information. Such as refilling the the rifle when it gets low. So the directions say that when you are filling it first time to cock the gun. Written in English and other languages plain and simple. But that isn't the way you fill it when its low. And again I'm new to this device and I may lacking in experience which is another reason why they should be specific about every aspect of the gun. To fill it when it is half full you leave it uncocked. When you try to fill it cocked it will back up in the air hose and eventually push the pump plunger up and you won't be able to do anything but let the air out of the line and scratch your head. So not a major deal but important none the less. A very important bit of information that I read in the reviews and implemented immediately from the first shot was the need to fully cock the gun through the click until it reaches the end and then push the bolt back in. Then if you don't hear the report or notice the target check for a pellet lodged or still in the barrel or the silencer. But if you don't understand this fully and you are shooting in to the openness you may not paying close attention to the sharp sound of the gun firing correctly and end up with one or more pellets stuck or in the end silencing chamber. So that was what happened on my second magazine. Every other shot ended caught in the end of the gun. They do tell you that if that happens to send the gun to them and they will remove the pellets. That is unacceptable for me and I was just about to return the rifle to Amazon. Now I can't stand all the new terms and conditions that Amazon imposes these days and decided to wait to gather more information. I was able to get four pellets out just by moving the barrel around until a pellet fell back to the opening at the top and pushed it back out. Probably at the expense of some scoring inside. I had one pellet left that I could hear bouncing around but I could do nothing about. Fortunately I had already bought a cheap gun cleaning kit which lead me to look up videos on YouTube for proper techniques. I say fortunate because the second video i clicked on was the Gamo Arrow and low and behold the content creator showed me exactly how to remove the silencer which is very simple and won't harm the gun in the least. Pay attention to the pins and the equipment you use to push them out which needs to be a hair smaller than the pin hole and bigger than the hole in the pin which will damage the pin making it difficult to remove. I don't recall the name of YouTube channel but I will edit this to add it if I find it again. Anyway I pulled the plastic silencer out and the pellet fell to the floor. Then i cleaned the barrel and put back together. Now I did notice i had damaged the silencer as shown in the picture. And although that is usually reason enough for me to return an item, every shot since has been spot on. Well im not that good of a shot anyway and I don't know if that small broken piece effects accuracy but I enjoy the gun the same . So had i understood all of this from the beginning I would have given this rifle a 5 star review. I do plan on contacting the company and if they replace the silencer I will edit this review and give the gun a 5. I enjoy it very much. Review Update: Ok I have nearly mastered this rifle. (That is I am comfortable with it and I have had no more issues with it) That being said I still am not one hundred percent positive on how to pump it out. I understand now that there is a valve on the top of the hand pump and that when I cock it and discharge it i then need to let out the air and close the top valve before the bottom valve or vice versa... Lol. But I have had no more issues with pellets getting stuck in the muzzle. I make sure that I have only cocked it once and if I don't remember I pull the magazine and discharge it into the dirt. I have cleaned it with a push pull rod after removing the silencer which does a much better job and I have used both a stiff rod and Gamo's slinky style rifle cleaner never pulling it back up through the silencer which will damage it. I also confirmed that I could fire 60 rounds on 3000 psi. Which is why I wanted a PCP style air rifle to begin with. I never contacted Gamo about the damaged right side of the muzzle but as stated it works perfectly. Remember never use patroleum lubricant. I use 100% silicone the same stuff I use on my wife and it worked great. Because it will become harder to push cocking mechanism in after a couple hundred rounds. The iron sights are dead on. And thats it. Good luck.

This actually it’s my first PCP rifle, I choose it first of all for the brand, I own several others Gamo break barrel rifles and they are excellent for backyard plinking and quite pests control, very silent but deadly and precise. My first shots I tough that something was wrong with the rifle, after the first 20 shots maybe I started noticing the power of this rifle. Absolutely precise shot after shot same spot at 25 yards using 1 gr pellets Gamo magnum energy. Installed a 3-9 x 40 that do a fantastic job. I love the fact that I can use the same magazines of the Gamo Swarm. A perfect rifle for shooting standing with only 5 lbs of weight. Now this rifle it’s for a 25-30 yds range, the manufacturer stated 60 shots per fill, I used 1.37 gr pellets in a full refill and was able to consistently shot at 25 yds approximately 45 shots after that you can probably do 10 more adjusting the sight. Still, I mean 50-55 shots with 21 gr pellets it’s not bad. If you are a beginner looking for a PCP rifle this is the perfect one, not to mention the price. I’ll recommend it.

Hell no. Probably does what it says it's going to do but if it can't load normal pellets then it's normally useless. I'm flat out disgusted and how bad this thing is designed. The magazine is just a flat-out pile of junk. Eight different pellets do not work. Every popular brand does not work. What the hell is this thing supposed to shoot if we can't put pellets in it? Three different kinds of pellets do not work in this. Nothing works in this gun. What a pile of junk. All my pellets are too long for the magazine. What pellets work? Talk about a clueless company. You guys make a product and you can't even tell us anything about it? Worthless Chinese junk being sold as an American company. Everything about this rifle is trash. Completely pathetic for the price. A simple BB gun is more effective
