Great colour. Make sure you was the garment as per instructions
Used in conjunction with the other dye they do you can die mixed and natural fibre very successfully

the colour was a perfect crimson red
Used it on a 100% polyester dress that was magnolia in colour. Immediately after taking the dress out of the dye, it looked 10 times darker but once it was washed and finished drying, the colour was a perfect crimson red. Be careful not to get the dye on kitchen surfaces as it dyes that too and it's hard to remove.

meh
didn't do great of a job on red/black striped polyester pants. They turned out dark red wine.

Messy and ineffective
Didn't work. I have used one of these packets previously (dying an orange dog harness pink) and checked that the instructions were the same. Boiled for over an hour, regular stirring. Yes I was trying to dye a black item, but the colour should have still taken! Perhaps slightly darker yellow but when rinsed off it was untouched! All it did was make a mess!My synthetic item was not dyed at all. Disappointing.

This isn't really a 'silver' colour at all but I had read reviews and blogs that suggested this was a good charcoal colour
I bought this to dye some pale grey linen curtains - I wasn't sure what material the stitching thread was and I wanted it to match and so I used half dye for natural fabrics and half this dye for man made fabrics in the same colour. The colour came out exactly the shade I wanted - a charcoal grey. This isn't really a 'silver' colour at all but I had read reviews and blogs that suggested this was a good charcoal colour.I've given this 4 stars instead of 5 simply because it is not the sort of dye you put in a washing machine - which would be far easier. I don't have a giant pan that would fit 4 full length curtains in - so I had to use the washing machine and hope for the best. The colour was a bit patchy, but once the curtains are up no one can tell unless I point it out so I can live with it.

Outstanding seller. Will buy again.
I have only just received the product so haven't used yet. I would however like to comment on the seller though. There was a problem and seller went out of their way to solve it. I really cannot recommend enough. Superb.Update:Dyed a tracksuit top. It worked to produce an even, vivid colour. You need to be careful with the dye as it will colour anything the solution touches. Good stuff.

Zero for two attempts at bright pink (in a washing machine)
Other reviewers have said they had success with this in their washing machines but two attempts, one at 60 degrees C and one at 95 degrees C, didn’t make much of a dent in this formerly ivory-white garment. The label claims it is 100% polyester. Both the care label and the buttons have come out the required shade (after the second attempt in a hotter wash) but not the garment itself. After the first wash it came out extremely pale pink, after the second was pale pink with a distinctly grey hue. It’s just for a fancy dress costume, on a second-hand item, because I didn’t want to spend much. I’m going to attempt using Dylon machine dye to see if that covers the (possibly mislabelled?) cloth and, if not, I’ll give up.I had intended to do it on the hob but when the packet arrived, it specified that you must not use a pan that you use for food/cooking. I don’t have a pan I’m prepared to sacrifice to dying clothes, so that’s why I attempted using a washing machine. (I’m only trying it because I thought the second-hand item was cotton and therefore planned to use Dylon in the first place!)I did run cleaner through our washing machine first so that any dirt that might catch the dye was removed and I’ll be cleaning it again afterwards before I test it and maybe put a dark load or two through. In summary, I’m quite envious of the people who managed to get it to work in a machine.

Dye successful
Very easy process if you have a large deep pan. I used pink but the end result was more of a purple/pink. The garment dyed evenly. Definitely recommend
