1% Kojic Acid Lip Balm with SPF 30 PA +++

i’m gonna give y’all a real review because sometimes honestly when I be reading it I’ll be saying I think they lying so I’mma give you my experience. This product did lighten my lips. It’s not the type of dramatic lightning that you might want to receive so I used it and continue to use it for about a month so the best way I can describe it is I went from a light brown to a brownish pink. the reality is without some type of bleaching cream or something stronger than these bombs and you’re looking for a dramatic change you’re not going to get it with these products however, if you use them consistently, especially when you’re going outside with the sun using it at night so that it can saturate you will gain improvement. now this is for the smokers because I feel like sometimes people just don’t wanna tell you the truth. You can use this product and it will lighten your lips if you’re smoking but when I tell you, you have to be on it you can’t just put it on in the morning, smoking throughout the day or whatever it is, you do and then put it on at night and then boom you trying to figure out why it’s not working. think of smoking like sun rays. That hot smoke tar you know the heat your lips are reacting in a protective state meaning the melanin is like oh I got a job to do it hot. Let me protect my lips by getting darker. This is why I wanted to talk about the elephant in the room because if you truly want lighter lips as light as they can be as light as they can recover, you got to stop smoking. However, that doesn’t mean that it’s a loss cause I personally use about three different bombs, including this one for different times of the day. I have one in the morning one that I applied throughout the day and one that I use at night, all of them has lightning properties but the point is you cannot smoke smoke without putting your bomb on first like you have to constantly keep that protective layer or barrier for the product to work. And sidebar especially for smokers you need to exfoliate often I exfoliate once a day on my lips. Just a disclaimer I’m no Doctor. I’m no dermatologist. I’m just telling y’all from my experience what I did to make it work and to try to give details that I don’t see any other reviews.

Love this. Have seen great results with this. Love it in a tube style. But it has a strong chemical odor. Yet not chemically it’s kind of playdo iish kind of smell. Regardless I highly recommend this.

This is the spf 30**, NOT SPF 50! Honestly, I noticed a difference within 3 weeks of me applying it. I applied it 3x a day. I didn’t seal it with no other chapstick like how it states in the instructions. After a month of me using it, my dark patches are slightly lighter. They’re still there ofc, but not as dark. I’m loving it so far. However, after a month & 15 days, you’d have to buy a new 1…

Waste of money, just buy a chapstick. Unless you just admire the packaging.

Update…As soon as I left my review a couple of days later, which is today I came back to order more for my family and they raised the price already. I paid $11.99 and now they raised it to over $14. I will not be purchasing again. But this does encourage me to make my own since I already make natural products I ordered the SPF 50 lip balm. I love it! I did not see this on social media I was just searching for a lip balm that will lighten my lips and has SPF 50. I haven’t had a chance to see if it actually lightened my lips, but the reason that I like it is because it is SPF 50 and I also love the texture of it. It really feels like it’s hydrating my lips. I’m not sure where that strong odor is that a couple of people keep talking about because I don’t smell anything. I hope it helps lighten my lips, but if it doesn’t, at least they won’t get any darker with this stuff on it. People love to complain about odors. Even when I buy clothing, people are complaining about the odor from the clothing in the reviews. I love the smell of new clothing, that’s how I know it’s new! This item arrived in excellent condition. There is a tamper seal on the side which was intact. This lip balm is very moisturizing. I will update as to whether or not it lightens effectively.

How many do you have to use to see a difference? I had only used 1 stick and saw nooooooo difference

If your mouth area has black/dark spots , this is the best product to use. I recommend it

I originally wrote a very short review saying that I could see a difference within one week, and after using this lip balm consistently for around two months, I can confidently say that I am still happy with it. I use it around 3 to 4 times a day, and consistency really seems to matter. The way I get the best results is by applying it after a bath and avoiding eating or drinking for around 1 to 2 hours afterward so it has enough time to stay on the lips. For me, the best time to use it is before sleeping. I apply a good layer before going to bed and leave it overnight, so it stays on for several hours without being disturbed. After doing this consistently, I can clearly see an improvement compared with when I started. If you smoke, I would personally avoid leaving any lip balm on while smoking. I prefer to clean my lips after smoking and then apply the balm again. This also helps me keep my routine consistent. There are cheaper lip balms available in the market, but based on my experience after two months of regular use, I think this one is worth paying a little more for. The combination of the ingredients, SPF and the results I have personally seen makes it one of the better options I have tried in this price range. For me, this is not an overnight product. The difference started becoming noticeable within the first week, but the improvement became much clearer with consistent daily use over the following weeks. If you are looking for something specifically for dark or uneven looking lips and are willing to use it consistently, I would definitely consider this one.

Amazing lip balm for hyperpigmentation of lips. It takes time to work but worth the wait and money. With 1% Kojic acid in it combined with alpha arbutin, it helps lighten dark pigmented lips overtime with continuous use. 💯 recommend :)))
