Perfect for being awoken by ghostly moaning at midnight and tiptoeing down the creaking staircase of my Victorian mansion with my kerosene lamp to investigate.

I was looking for something lightweight to sleep in for the summer. It's challenging to find a modest night gown that doesn't look like it belongs to my grandma lol; I really like how it's flattering (husband approved) but modest enough to wear in front of my kids.

I feel like I should be wearing this flowy nightdress as I run barefoot through the woods being chased by Bigfoot., lol. It’s perfect! I’ve read a lot of comments about too tight sleeves but mine fit great, the cut is slimmer than I expected but that’s good because I’m not swimming in too much fabric. The length is good on my 5’2” frame, hits about mid calf so there’s no fear of tripping when I’m on the run, haha. It is see through though so beware if that’s not what you’re wanting. I’ll come back and edit after it’s been worn and washed a few times to tell you how it holds up.

Got a size M based in reviews and unfortunately Its too big. The material is nice and comfortable. The sleeves are a bit problematic because they don't fall nicely on your shoulders. I love the vintage look but hubby thought I was a ghost fron the past when I walked in the dark bedroom with this nightdress.

Love the fit and the cotton material is extremely soft! It’s my very favorite nightgown now and I wish it come in other colors! The elastic was a little tight around the sleeve area so I cut small slits in the elastic. Now it fits my arms loosely which I love and it’s a perfect fit from head to toe!

Ordered size small. Runs very, very large. Lost a star because, even though the body runs big, the elastic in the sleeves is a bit tight and uncomfortable.

This is a step back in time! Very lightweight and quite see through, this gown is super soft and flowy. Fabric is very comfortable. At 5'3" this comes just above my ankles. Can be worn on or off the shoulder, as well as tied or open. Super feminine!

It's been several months since I purchased this nightgown. It is lovely, and I got one made of a cotton blend. I received it in late January, and wore it several times, washed and wore again several more times. The gown was initially very long on me (I'm 5.2), hitting me at my ankle, but it appeared the hem was a slight bit higher in the front than in the back which was helpful in that I was less likely to get tripped up going up the stairs. While I still have the gown, and intend to wear it until I can't anymore, I have to say that if I can find this gown at a decent price, that is of a higher quality and make, I probably recycle this one and forgo wearing it again. My only gripe is that after several washes, using mild laundry soap, on a gentle cycle, and hanging to dry naturally, the gown has shrunk significantly. It is now up to my shins, directly below my knee and looks more like your average chemise than an actual nightgown. There is nothing wrong with that, if that is one's preference, but I really enjoy a longer nightgown for my sleepwear. All in all, if you're on a budget and this is the style/type of nightgown you are looking for, by all means, go for it. Just be warned that if you receive the same materials I did, it's probably not going to stay in the same shape and length as you originally purchased it and it will most likely look like you actually received it as a hand-me-down from your great great grandmother.
