I was pleasantly surprised when I received the Eoto LED video light. Of the many lights advertised for desktop video, webcams, and Vblogs this one shines above the rest. Starting with the quality of light - the Eoto radiates a flattering soft light demonstrated by Woody's soft shadow in my photo. Also, it is bright enough that it can be further softened by bouncing the light off a white wall or ceiling to create more natural lighting. The advantage of bounce light is you look good on camera without the glare of a lamp shining in your face.The lamp itself is well designed; it is light-weight and not bulky; the controls are intuitive; most of the lamp and clamp are made of plastic; and best of all, the A/C cord is a classic power cord without a bulky transformer at the end. The lamp does not contain an internal battery so it can not be used unless there is power nearby.For the techs out there, I measure the light output at about 1600 LUX at a meter away. The brightness falls off considerably as I move the meter away from center. The light is best suited for single headshots and tabletop photography.It comes with a table clamp which is well constructed with mostly metal parts. It is sturdy and provides a good base. I would prefer a pivot at the bottom of the arm so the lamp could be positioned lower than 16" from the table top. The kit also includes a cell phone clamp, it works well but the camera should be mounted off-axis from the light in most cases, otherwise the image will look flat.The remote works fine, the batteries are not included. It also come with a cell phone shutter control with an installed battery.As I work with this light it is quickly becoming my go-to light for most situations. I highly recommend it.

Shooting impressive photos and video is all about the lighting. LED light panels like this are quickly becoming the light of choice because of their compact size, flexibility, cool operation and price. This is a fairly large 14 inch diameter light source. Its soft light output is bright, very bright! It’s a wide light source that throws lighting where you want it. The adjustable color temperature is necessary and is effective in matching my other lighting. I already own larger LED light panels and this 5000 lumen round panel will compliment those. This comes with two remotes. On to operate your phones camera which I will never use and the other to operate this light panel remotely. This remote will adjust brightness and color temperature. This is necessary for making lighting adjustments while looking through the video monitor or camera lens. This also comes with a table clamp mount for selfie social media videos although I will use a full sized tripod over the desk mount. I found it disappointing that the remote didn’t include the batteries to make it work especially for a product in this price range. I almost took a star off because of it and I felt supplying batteries with a product that requires it is a necessity. Its not a big thing to the manufacturer but its a big deal to the buyer. Like giving a child a Christmas gift but not the batteries, all they can do is look at it and wonder how it works.This is a quality light with usable features at a fair price and I am very happy with my purchase.

I got this ring light for some minor video work that I do for my job. I wasn’t expecting it to be so large large mean is the size of a serving platter. But boy does this put out the light! Are use this recently to video my CEO giving a speech to all staff. This was exactly what I needed and I’m very happy with it.My only critique, and this is me being extra is that I wish it had a storage case. Other than that, no complaints from me at all!

I reviewed this product in March and April of 2023.This light is simple to setup, simple to use right out of the box, and can be used for a number of applications including video streaming, content creation, video calls, and photography of all sorts. I was able to use it for product photography and really enjoyed it.A few key features:1. The light is large and relatively diffuse.2. The controls are simple to use, brightness up and down, temperature up and down.3. The metal clamp is sturdy and easy to attach to a desk or a work surface (I show it attached to a granite counter top in the picture attached to this review.)4. The adjustments at the light and on the mounting rod provide a lot of options for positioning of the light.5. Thin form factor and easy to place.A few things I wish were better:1. I would have liked the light to be brighter at full scale given the price point.2. There's a lot of plastic on the product that feels barely adequate to me and I have concerns as to stability over time.3. I would have liked safety certifications.All in all, if you need a versatile light that has flexibility this might be a good option for you. Its simple to use, puts out a decent amount of light, and allows you to drive the light temperature around easily.Please note this is NOT a ring light but a solid, round, flat light.

This is not a ring light, it's a round panel light. I did not want a ring light is why I chose this one and it works really well. Most panel lights are square or rectangular, but this one is round so it casts the light a little bit differently and is sort of the best of both worlds of ring light and panel light. its an edge lit ring light with diffusion in the middle and imo its even smoother and looks more natural than a ring light, especially in the eyes. I really like it.

I needed an excellent source of illumination of 5000 lumens or more for my art work space. This light provided me with the source needed plus the features for attaching it easily to my work table. It is easy to setup and use. I am very pleased with it. I am impressed with how well it illuminates my work. I do not know how I did my work without it in the past. Good quality materials all around. The photo of my work station does not capture the true effect of the lamp, but gives one an idea of how it is being used. I do recommend this light source.

Die Kinder machen gerne Videos mit Zeitversatz und/oder Pause und ich fotografiere recht viel, alles fern ab des Profi-Bereichs. Aber auch der Hobby Filmer und Fotograf weiß, dass es ohne ausreichendes Licht keine wirklich guten Ergebnisse geben kann. In Innenräumen ist durchaus einiges an Deckenbeleuchtung vorhanden, aber entweder ist die LED dann doch zu klein dimensioniert oder der Schatten ist zu stark, oder ist gerade auf der falschen Seite zu sehen.Mir persönlich reicht eine weiße Zusatzbeleuchtung, die Farben können wir im Wohnzimmer durchaus durch die vielen Spots in der Decke individuell setzen.Mit 14 Zoll ist die Leuchte eigentlich so groß, dass ich keinen Reflexschirm benötige. Das Licht wird sehr schön gleichmäßig an die Umgebung abgegeben und die Lichttemperatur und auch die Helligkeit lässt sich mit der Fernbedienung super komfortabel und schnell, so wie gewünscht einstellen. Wenn man direkt neben oder hinter der Leuchte steht, dann lassen sich die Einstellungen auch direkt an der Rückseite der Leuchte vornehmen, da braucht man keine Fernbedienung.Mit der Tischklemme lässt sich die Leuchte sehr flexibel platzieren, es können dicke und auch dünne Tischplatten sein, Sideboards und ähnliches funktionieren da auch genauso gut. Auch die Höhe kann noch eingestellt werden, da ist man zwar nicht mehr so extrem flexibel, die Höhe ist aber nun mal für die Montage an einer Tischplatte vorgesehen, also so ca. 70 bis 80 cm und dann reicht sie bis auf Kopfhöhe.In der Produktbeschreibung ist zwar die Leuchtkraft mit 5000 Lumen angegeben, die Leistungsaufnahme fehlt aber. In der beiliegenden Bedienungsanleitung ist sie mit 40 Watt angegeben, die konnte ich mit einem Leistungsmessgerät ebenfalls feststellen.Neben der Fotografie und der Video-Set-Beleuchtung ist sie ebenfalls für Streamer gut geeignet. Die Leuchte kann auch als Zimmerbeleuchtung, als Baustellenstrahler oder helle Zusatzbeleuchtung genutzt werden, ob temporär oder dauerhaft bleibt jedem selbst überlassen.Lediglich die Winkeleinstellung hätte gerne einrastend sein dürften, denn bei Winkeln kleiner 45° in Richtung horizontal muss man die Flügelmutter sehr stark anziehen damit die Leuchte in dem Winkel bleibt. Ansonsten erfüllt die Leuchte meine Ansprüche komplett, ich bin super zufrieden mit den Resultaten!

I'm an art director and recently bite the bullet and decided to my video streaming game for client calls. I have so many bulky production softboxes that i struggled to fit over my desktop, this product does just a great job with a fraction of the typical softbox footprint. The shadows are super soft and great at creating Rembrandt lighting that is flattering to my video profile.The only thing i wish is it also comes with softbox grids to focus the lighting even more or gels.They should sell this as an add on and im definitely down to get another set.

Die runde Videoleuchte wird in einem schmalen Karton geliefert, wo jedes Einzelteil gut von einander gepolstert ist. Da weiter keine Tasche dabei ist, hätte ich mir zumindest einen Griff am Karton gewünscht.Der Aufbau gestaltet sich selbsterklären. Das Tisch-Stativ mit Klemme ist richtig sauber und ordentlich Verarbeitung, das gilt tatsächlich aber auch für alle anderen Teile. Die Klemme ist schonend gummiert, damit nichts an der Platte beschädigt werden kann. Der Großteil (bis auf Alu Stange + Metalltischklemme) besteht aus Kunststoff, aber aus massiven! Kann man nicht meckern.Ein langes und klugerweise abgewinkeltes Stromkabel liegt. Toll auch, die Lampe hat einen extra An-/Ausschalter. Die Bedienung funktioniert hinten am Panel via Touch super und auch das Display ist tadellos zu erkenne. Weißtöne können hier spielend stufenlos verstellt werden und die Helligkeit kann in 5% Schritten gedimmt werden. Die Ausleuchtung und das Licht ist der Hammer um es kurz und knapp zu bezeichnen, so stellt man sich Fot-/Videolicht vor! Die Leuchte wird auch nicht vorne oder hinten heiß, alles nur Handwarm.Was die Sache natürlich noch toppen würde, wäre ein zusätzlichen Dreibein-Stativ, aber wer sowas schon hat, sollte kein Problem haben die Leuchte auch damit verwenden zu können.Nachdem ich bisher nur solche Ringleuchten verwendet habe, bin ich erstaunt, wie gut das Licht von der Ausbeute hier ist und glaube, ich werde diese hier nur noch verwenden.
