A most enjoyable continuation of the original series of books first read in the 1970’s alongside the tv series. Recommended to anyone who likes to read a long series of books.

never hesitate to buy winstnn graham..the more the better i know he can'tread this now,but this is my fave series of ALL time..i am usually a crime thriller person, but THIS. first class first i was intimidated by howmany there ...i have never lasted past a book 3 other than shardlake cj sansom..need not have worried-sped through the first 6 books..like drinking water. you don't notice the 3000 or so pages go by.. It has changed my mind on is independance of young adults- if his mum hadn't allowed him to stay at home and write for a decade (or more) with no income...we would NEVER have had these books..had she said "no, son, get to mcdonalds and work 12hr shifts and get a bedsit/flat" these would never have been around... a parent supporting her childs talent through adulthood is rare nowadays-and i always thought it was no good idea..but she obviously knew how talented he was..so, mother in the sky, thank you for being so generous and supportive of your adult son.

Very pleased with the book set was as described in the listing and also the delivery was excellent the driver followed instructions and left the parcel in the front porch……..I have a notice on the door with instructions to leave parcels in the porch and quite often the Amazon driver will just leave it by the front door where it can be seen from the road (not good if I am out) but this driver put it inside the porch……thank you to the driver concerned

Great to read the continuing stories of the Poldark family for those you loved the TV series. Great books by a great author.

I have recently been to Scotland and bought the first six books in different stores at a higher price than this set. They were a little bit delayed but the packaging and the quality of the books and the paper is sublime. I would definitely buy again.

I have watched the DVD series and enjoyed it. I wanted to have the story continued. I am thoroughly enjoying reading from the beginning, the entire series. Currently I am on book 3.

WOW!! This is another great Collection at a great price. I have loved the story of Ross Poldark and his wife, Demelza, their family, friends, and yes, even their enemies (here's looking at you George.), I am only sad that with this collection of books 7-12, that the series has come to a close. But, like all good things, I suppose too, so must this wonderful, wonderful story. I must say I enjoyed, "The Angry Tide", the most, followed by "The Miller's Dance", "The Loving Cup", and of course, the final installment, "Bella Poldark". "The Twisted Sword", was good and I enjoyed it overall, but I didn't like the characters leaving Cornwall for France, nor did I like what happened to them and those they loved, while they were there, and I was saddened by the loss of one of the major characters,whom we've gotten to know well, thanks to the prior books that lead up to this one. The least favorite for me of this set would have to be "The Stranger From The Sea", and the introduction of Stephen Carrington, I didn't like him at all. He was a bit too shifty for my taste, turns out there's a very good reason for the dislike. This review is getting rather long and I wish to avoid any direct spoilers, so I will end it here.
