I’m a Garmin convert from Fitbit and never regretted it after what Google did to trash Fitbit when they took over.This Garmin is backed by a great app with sleep insights, HRV monitoring, resting heart rate monitoring and sleep quality to name a few. The step count is pretty accurate and the way it picks up elevated heart rate in exercise and stress is impressive.Primarily designed for runners, it gives hints and tips to improve performance and there’s a sleep coach too. I also like the interface and the fact I can choose my watch face (using my own photos - via an add on app). I’ve been using this for 6 months and having had Fitbits and 1 other Garmin (Vivosmart), this is the best I’ve used.It does all the other things like display texts and WhatsApp messages and its speciality is music control so it links to music and other similar apps on the phone.It has an emergency contact feature and things like sunrise & sunset times, walk tracking using its own GPS and elevation stats.I tend to charge this daily, so it’s always above 75%, and the only time it dips below that is if I have taken a five or six hour walk using the internal GPS tracking, which is higher battery use. Overall the battery use is pretty good.The reports after exercise are very helpful, pictured are the stats after a 7 mile walk. Not shoe (but always given) is the hours to recovery from an exercise which helps track when next to exercise and how hard.Finally I like its size - not to bulky on my smaller wrist and the colour is perfect for me.

Love it- as a beginner runner I’ve been eying up getting a garmin and I think this is perfect. It’s very easy to get used to and to find all features and I connect it to my YouTube music to download playlists onto my garmin.

Terrible watch. Big Mistake my old Garmin is 5 years old, but still better than this one! It stops counting steps! It stops when I`m running! I run 5k on treadmill and the watch stops mostly a little after one km. I would like to just return it, but I only have the option to return it for repairs!

Absolutely love this watch so far. The battery life is great, it tracks well and it's comfy to wear. I'd previously had a Garmin Lily which was awful so I'm relieved this one is so good. I would highly recommend this watch to anybody wanting to track their activities etc.

Great, but should include a USB-A connector for charging (UK). Had to purchase one separately.

It was my princess' dream to have a Garmin, so when I started choosing which one to buy this model stood up. It's very affordable compared to other similar models and it has many great features.I've been taking my phone for my runnings for a long time, but it was bothering me to have the extra weight and volume to carry. This watch has GPS on it so you can leave your phone at home. You also can download music apps like Spotify and sync it with your earphones, it's great! I'm just an amateur runner, but the accuracy in my opinion is spot on, you can download your trainings to the watch and it'll tell you the intervals and keep your pace on range.The battery life will depend on your usage, but for me, who runs 4x a week with music on and monitors sleep every night, it lasts about 4 days.It's very intuitive, easy to use, the screen is nice and the touch works really good.One of my concerns when buying this was it size, I was afraid it would be too big for my almost 15cm wrist, but it's actually great! The band has a lot of room for adjusting to you wrist, and honestly, if I had gotten the 265s (the other one in the battle), I would've regretted sizewiseIf you're looking for an affordable, beautiful and yet very functional watch, this is the right one! I love it 💕

Ich nutze die Garmin Forerunner 165 nun seit einigen Wochen täglich – sowohl im Alltag als auch beim Training – und bin absolut zufrieden.Das Datentracking funktioniert zuverlässig und liefert mir genau die Informationen, die ich brauche: Schritte, Puls, Aktivitätslevel und vieles mehr. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Schrittzähler, der sehr genau arbeitet. Für jemanden wie mich, der täglich 10.000 bis 15.000 Schritte geht, ist das ein echtes Plus.Auch die Aktivitätserinnerung gefällt mir richtig gut. Wenn ich zu lange sitze, bekomme ich eine freundliche Erinnerung, mich wieder zu bewegen – motivierend und hilfreich, besonders im Büroalltag.Die Pulskontrolle läuft stabil und liefert präzise Werte – sowohl im Ruhezustand als auch beim Training. Gerade für mein Ausdauertraining ist das sehr nützlich.Insgesamt fühlt sich die Uhr hochwertig an, ist angenehm zu tragen und die Bedienung über das Display ist einfach und intuitiv.Fazit: Ich bin rundum zufrieden und würde die Forerunner 165 jederzeit wieder kaufen. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die ihre Fitness und Gesundheit im Alltag im Blick behalten möchten.
