Good Idea, Priced Too High.
I bought these due to the lofty promise that I could tie them once and never worry about it again. And maybe that will happen one day. For now here is what I have experienced. These laces are wide and thin. They are basically just an elastic ribbon with shoe lace aglets (plastic tips) on the ends. The aglets were slightly curved. Looking at their product pictures in various colors, it would seem this happens randomly as some laces have it and some don't.I purchased these in a size medium and small. The small was 36 inches from aglet to aglet. The medium was about 42 inches, if I recall correctly. After you lace them up and tie them, you could conceivably slip your foot out and then back into the shoe. The problem is that the laces kind of migrate a little bit and the shoe feels very different when you put it back on. Sometimes uncomfortably different....enough to call for retying the laces. The only way I was able to alleviate some of the issue was getting help from a family member. I put my foot in the shoes with the laces as loose as possible then he pulled on the laces starting near the toe and going up to the ankle until they were not loose anymore, but....he did not pull them tight either. He only tightened them enough so they lay flat against the shoe. Then he tied and retied the shoes until the tension felt right. This worked well for awhile, being essentially set to my foot in the shoe, the laces did not migrate for several times worn. But eventually they did migrate again, causing the old issues to come back. So now I just treat them as normal laces and untie and retie them when I wear or take off the shoes. Considering that in the end they did not work significantly better than traditional laces, these just end up being too much money for what you get. Especially since their seem to be several other brands offering multi-packs of 3 elastic laces for about $10.I've considered trying the Caterpy, Coolknot, and Xtenex laces next. Those may prevent the migration issues due to their special design. Unable to freely travel through the eyelet holes due to how they are made. But I'm not happy with the idea of having to spend even more money. Is elastic really worth $10 for 5 feet? I'm not so convinced.

Don't be confused by the reviews.
I really like the laces. I got them in yellow, although in certain light, they almost appear as a light neon green, but it's an attractive color. But it's true, they do lie flat. The thing is.. I was reading the reviews and because several people said they were too long, or really long, etc., I didn't want a lot of extra lace to deal with, so I ordered the small. That was a mistake. I am using them on a women's size 9 shoe (Reebok Princess style) that has 7 holes on each side (so 14 lace holes in all) and the small will fit in that many, but not leave enough to tie a bow. So I just had to tie a little knot, which isn't a big deal since I don't have to untie it ever. I just slip the shoes on and off. But it would look more natural if I could have tied a bow. But I would definitely order again.. I would just get a size larger.

works in my sneakers so I don't have to tie and untie.
I love these because they are flat laces. I use them in the sneakers that I'm too unmotivated to tie and untie, so I just keep them tied and slip the sneakers on. I wear the sneakers to exercise (they are not high tops) and this brand of laces have been in the shoes for about 6 months with no problems. I expect that at some point they will snap from all the stretching to put the sneakers on, but that hasn't happened yet. I wear a size 7 mens sneaker for exercise because I find the width more comfortable than womens' sneakers (I am 8.5 W in womens). I bought the absolutely longest length lace that they sold and I do have extra left over to make a reasonably-sized bow.

These Laces Actually Work
I wear black walking shoes to my office every day. I wanted to make them more comfortable and easier to put-on. I tried another brand from a major retailer. They were "one size" and really constricted my feet. Then I ordered these really simple laces. They are a very low tech solution-- just shoe strings made out of elastic. You can adjust the tension, just like shoe strings. You can tie a bow, so that you appear to have normal shoe strings. Now my shoes slip on and off easier then loafers. I've used them for three months. These are nothing fancy... but they do the job well. My sensitive feet are happy.

Easy solution for pesky shoe problem
I like the stretch laces much more than some of the other lock type laces I have bought in the past. They are a breeze to install and just stretchy enough to make shoes easy-on and easy-off plus they look like regular shoelaces. What's not to like? I needed white and the medium was out of stock so I took a chance on the small and it was long enough for my ladies size 8.5 shoes. (22" long, I believe, according to the size chart)

Have Worked Wonderfully
OK, these are shoe laces so there is no difficulty figuring out how to use them. After a couple of days of slightly adjusting the tension on them they have worked wonderfully. I have a lot of problems with one of my feet and used to take an inordinate amount of time adjusting the pressure/tension on the strings. Now I don't have to. I would definitely recommend these and will buy them again when I need any new shoe strings.

White laces look good and stay tied
These are really useful and look pretty good. I replace my sneaker laces with these whenever possible for quicker on/off. (I don't usually wear shoes in the house. Plus they're great for quick changes while trying on clothes or other shoes.) I buy the size small for women's size 8 Converse or similar sneakers -- 5 to 6 holes on each side. I've only bought the white so can't speak about other colors.
