Great product for basketball.
Overall very satisfied with the product. It's way more convenient and more effective than athletic tape. The brace is comfortable to wear. It takes about 30min of regular sports activity to get used to when you first put them on. It is stable as well and does it's job at preventing those lateral rolls of the ankle that will make your foot stiff and uncomfortable for a couple days. Just like ALL ankle braces, it probably won't prevent a severe sprain (like landing on it really wrong and getting stepped on by a 250lb dude) but it will certainly lessen the injury. The brace also is pretty flexible and allows your ankle to maintain a good range and motion and flexion. I haven't seen a noticable reduction in athleticism (especially vertical jump) when wearing the brace like I've seen in other braces. Some braces are so stiff your vertical will go down by 2 inches bc your ankle can't properly flex. This brace allows that needed ankle flexion while still supporting it. I bet my vertical only went down maybe half an inch, but that's just the price you pay when wearing a brace, which is honestly worth it. Of course, I can still run and slide very well when wearing the brace. Honestly, I may even be able to change directions quicker when wearing the brace bc my ankles wont over rotate. Overall, great product and I highly recommend basketball players getting a pair bc there's so many uncontrollable variables like feet and slick spots that can cause you to roll an ankle.

Love these for volleyball
As a coach and mom of a volleyball player I highly recommend my front row players to wear ankle braces. I came across these a few years ago and several of my players purchased them because we got a good deal and we wore Adidas uniforms. These braces are great, they provide good support but are light weight and not bulky like the typical volleyball brace. My daughter lost her first pair and we attempted to purchase another brand in the store, she tried on every pair at the store and she didn't like any of them, she said they were to bulky so her shoes bulged out or they restricted her movement. We decided to order her another pair of these Adidas braces and again they didn't dissapoint. They are made of quality materials and actually could last multiple seasons. They are also super easy to put on; you slip them on like a sock and secure the velcro strap, there is a plastic piece that sticks into the outer side for added support and they can be removed if you prefer but she uses hers.

I had to modify it for it to work
I ordered a large and medium, because the medium was too tight. Pictured in my review is the modification of a medium sized brace. I had to remove the center piece, and punch two holes and lace them together because it was too narrow and hurt my arch. The large felt comfortable, but did not align and it did not feel like my ankle was supported. These braces have a firm plate supporting your outside ankle and helps it to feel more stable. If you have a high instep or wide feet, this brace has a weird tight fit. They should also have an adjustable strap over the arch of the foot. I wear a women's size 7 1/2 Wide, and the medium was too tight, and that should technically be a men's 6 or so. I am going to stick with it just because of the plate that stabilizes the ankle; I have not found that in most neoprene braces and it helps in aligning it.

Allowed me to be active!
My doctor recommended this to when I was recovering from an ankle sprain this summer. I was anxious to start being active again, but nervous about my weak ankle. He said he’d had several patients recommend it. What I love most about it (and wasn’t finding with other braces) is that it fits great with an athletic shoe. There’s tons of support! I used it mainly when hiking and playing pickle ball. Obviously movement is more difficult since my ankle is being held in place, but I wasn’t worried about re injuring myself. The brace would dig into my ankle when hiking, so I would recommend not wearing ankle socks with it.

Gets the job done
A rather impressive ankle brace. I played soccer when I purchased and, as a chubby woman I rolled my ankle wearing the cleats on the turf. I work at a sporting goods store and have tried all of the McDavid brand ankle braces and found that this one tops them all because of how the brace functions. You've basically got a roll-bar to prevent your ankle from rolling. It's rather impressive, specifically if your ankle rolls outwards (most do, but for the few whose ankle rolls inwards I do not recommend). When I wore the brace and played I didn't experience any issues with my ankle rolling compared to without use. I'd totally recommend!

Best for Every Day Use
My son will actually wear these, they have prevented more injuries, are comfortable, and worth the money, we are on our 2nd set in two years. He plays school ball and then all through summer travel ball, they last well and are 100% worth the money, best brace we've ever used, and we have tried them all

Good brace, bad vendor
I love these ankle braces (have bought them before), but I won't order from this vendor. When I got the brace, it was CLEARLY used. It was also the wrong size (package said M and and L came). To be honest, I am not sure Adidas even makes these anymore, which is sad (the Adidas website only has them in XL).

Best for narrow feet. It's not a one size fit all kind of brace...
I bought this for my son who plays basketball. Wanted to give him some light stability and ankle roll protection. When he was younger he used one that worked well. Now, he's much bigger and decided to get him a larger size. However, this time it didn't work out well for him. He has slightly wide feet. To use this brace you have to insert your foot through the fixed opening of the brace and that's where the problem with the design resides. While this opening is elastic, there is a limit. And if you have wide feet it can be quite uncomfortable during play as your feet tends to swell up a bit. Overall, my son had to take it off after 20 minutes of practice. The opening needs to be adjustable to accommodate different foot widths. We ending up getting a generic brace at Target which worked out alot better. So much for this NBA pro branded stuff. It's not meant for everyone.

Not as advertised, A bit disappointed indeed.
After being excited upon receiving the items, I was very disappointed to find the items to be way too large for my ankle even after I carefully followed the fitment guide on their website as advertised. They literally buckle around my ankles and are soooooo uncomfortable with no support or protection at this rate at all. Absolutely useless to me at this point, and what to do now with an item that cost me $100? I don't even know if they will trade them for a smaller size st this point in time. Certainly not as advertised and I would save your money at this point and buy local of possible.
