Neotech Saxophone Neck Strap Soft Sax Padded Open Hook for Alto Tenor Baritone Soprano - Made in USA

I purchased the XL open hook. The XL strap would definitely be long enough for a tenor sax but fits nicely for my alto. The open hook design feels very sturdy and although it’s easy to take on and off still gives you a sense of security when it’s hooked to your instrument. The strap and neck pad are also great quality and with proper care should work well for many years to come. I am overall very happy with this purchase and recommend it to all.

My school gave me this neck strap to use for the year and it was super comfortable so I bought my own the next year. These last many years and are so much better than other neck straps without the padding. If you have one without the padding, then you should definitely buy this one. You will feel the difference. I had one without padding and it made my neck hurt so much. This is probably one of the best neck strap you could buy.

I really like my Neotech, but the only down side for me is that it is too long for me, and my alto. I am about 5' tall, so for me I would like to have the strap go up a few more inches, but I have it to it's vey minimal length. I also like the open hook rather than the closed clip hook. I still would recommend getting this Neotech, but if your much shorter than 5' I would look around more at different Neotech's.

My daughter really likes these. She plays tenor, alto and soprano sax and marches in our high school marching band. These are her favorite. She was down to one strap and was having to remember to put it in whatever case she was taking to school. I got her two of these, this blue I got because so many of the kids have black ones at school and one of hers went missing. You can't go wrong with these.

I was looking for a good, comfortable and secure neck strap without spending a lot of money. I did a pretty extensive internet search and came up with this one as being the best cost-effective solution. I have now received the neck strap and it is everything I hoped for: secure and comfortable and 100% suitable for the job at hand. Why spend more? I'm using it both on my alto and tenor (and c mel) and it holds the weight really well. It is low-key and does not draw attention to itself, which I like. Search no further. This is a winner.

5’8”, so, really, it’s too short. Can barely make this work with my alto, totally extended and stretched to do so.

Best feature is open hook which allows easy change from one sax to another sax. But one caution be attentive using this open hook because your instrument might slip out of hook while playing. Highy recommend for multi instrumentalist.

I'm a pro player, play various saxes on gigs, & was looking forward to getting my new strap. I have used Neotech straps ever since they first came out, but it had been a few years since I purchased one. However, upon opening it and putting it on, it felt nothing at all like they used to. It seemed very cheaply put together, and almost like they left off the inner & outer layer of material. They were kind of spongy & bouncy, thus their claim of reducing the feel of the weight of the horn. Well this feels stiff, has very little cushioning, and will take quite a while to actually sit on my neck, as it is now so stiff, it just wants to remain straight. I am very, very disappointed in this, Neotech's quality has gone way down hill, and I will be returning it.

Very disappointed. Delivery took ages and was not of the same standard as the previous, supposedly identical, sling. Not as adjustable so difficult to get a tenor sax at the correct height. Hook inferior, previous hook had a safety catch and could rotate. New one has neither.
