It might be pricey, but it works. Our dog used to vomit and have loose stools frequently.No more problems after adding this as a "snack/treat". Have been using for many years.

We first started giving our cat Merlin probiotics on the vet's recommendation to prevent flares of feline herpes in his eye. The Purina packets seemed to be helping, but they can be pricy, especially once we started giving our second cat probiotics as well. I decided to look for an alternative, and this brand has the same microbe used in the Purina brand (E. faecium) so we gave it a try.So far, it works great! They like the taste (it hides Dandy's medication flavor very well) and I actually think Merlin's eye has been doing better with this brand. Maybe it's this particular brand, but we are more consistent giving the cats probiotics in larger quantities now that it's more affordable. We used to stretch the packets out over 4-6 meals, now we use about a quarter a scoop a day per cat. I hate having to choose between what is financially reasonable and my cat's health so I really appreciate this product. We've hardly made a dent in it!

These probiotics are very useful for my Lab that was found wandering in the mountains and obviously without a home for quite a while. Even his healthy foods don’t contain the probiotics required to introduce healthy bacteria for digestion. His digestive system is clearly working as it should now

My pole barn cat, Chacha, gots dental surgery and 10 teeth were taken out. The vet prescribed Clindamycin and it causes severe diarrhea. I stop Clindamycin after 3 doses and will use a different antibiotic. The vet said to use Probiotic until his stool is firm before starting another antibiotic. I had tried 2 other brands, but it doesn't work. With this Profivex Probiotics, Chacha's stool is back to normal (well formed) after 2 days of use.Upon reading, Cats gut flora are different than dog or human. Cats' gut flora should have at least 2 strains of microbs. 1) Bifidobacterium bifidum that usually lives in a small intestine (helping absorb nutrients). and 2) Enterococcus faecium that usually lives in a colon (helping absorb liquid/ water). This product also have FOS which is a prebiotic and Bromelain to break down protein.I take 1 star out because of packaging. There is NO seal inside the bottle. If it's a product for human, I would be very skeptical about integrity of content inside.

I’ve been giving these probiotics to my 4 cats and 2 large dogs for three years and I’ve seen a noticeable difference in their digestion, skin and hair.All of my animals were suffering from dry itchy skin, especially in the 100 degree hot dry summers. By just adding one scoop per bowl for the doggos and splitting a scoop for the kitties has changed the softness of their hair, greatly reduced or diminished their need to scratch. It even aids my Pittie’s digestion issues with eating too many gross things and getting either all plugged up or the opposite after.I love that it’s affordable and can be used for the whole household of fur babies without any nasty secret ingredients. They all love the flavor too, all bowls are licked clean at every meal. Highly recommend.

Excellent product

My dog really likes the flavor of this stuff. So easy to put it in her food.My last order of it came with a missing seal under the screw cap. You could see it had been removed with bits of it still stuck on the container, but it was gone Someone removed it. Not sure if this is safe to give my dog???? I put in a question to thsi company but they are not answering. Will not buy again unless I hear back from the mfger.

My sweet girl loves this prebiotic and considers them a treat. This is the second time I've ordered. The product has been in stock and Prime free next day delivery.
