These carbon zinc batteries are ideal for low current draw items (e.g., clocks) which is why I specifically look for carbon zinc batteries like these. The product listing for these says they’re guaranteed best before 2019 or longer which is a bit scary since that’s now 6 years past. Given that, first thing I checked upon receiving them is the expiration date: 2028. (Whew!). They’re not the freshest batteries (thus knocking 1 star), but they’ll work for our purposes. YMMV as you might actually receive something that expired in 2019 or 2020 and you’d be receiving items exactly as described.

Yes these batteries work great for the job that I needed them to do thank you Amazon easy to install so far I don't know about battery life so far they're still working and yes a great value.

Batteries arrived quickly and work well. Battery life was at capacity and will be good for a long time.

I had just found out the old fashioned Zinc batteries were best for clocks. My clock is outside in Arizona, protected from rain. If they start leaking, I will update my rating, but all is good for now!
