edit after 7 months of floor sleeping: my hip pain has gotten better, so I decided to make this the sole mattress to sleep on, it actually works so well for me now! compared to layering with 2 mattresses before, it’s much easier to fold up now when I need to, changing sheets is also a breeze. this mattress kept its shape and firmness without any visible sagging or indents so far, I believe this is a very good mattress for floor sleeping. the mattress looks well made, it’s as thick as advertised, it didn’t take long for it to pop up, though it does need some shaking for it to be fully even. slept on just this mattress on the hard wood floor for two nights, if you sleep on your back, this has the perfect firmness and support, if you’re a side sleeper like me, it’s does have good enough cushion for your hip, depending on how much your hip bone sticks out. for me, I have hip pain on one side of my hip and not the other side, I can sleep on this mattress on my the good side with no problem, it dips enough to contour but is firm and supportive enough so you won’t feel the floor, but my bad side does need a bit more softness and height than this to be fully comfortable. again that’s just for personal reasons, otherwise the mattress would be a lightweight option for floor sleeping, it’s also foldable with its strip sewing design, and very easy to put on fitted sheet. a solution I’ve devised to achieve more cushion and comfort for myself is to buy another reasonably priced floor mattress with a similar design and thickness, if not just slightly softer, to layer on top, that’ll be a perfect floor sleeping setup that still maintains the convenience of changing sheets and moving. in the end, I think this is a good solid mattress for floor sleeping for back & side sleepers if you have no hip problems.

I’ve transitioned to a tatami-style floor setup, and this 3.2" high-density foam mattress is exactly what I was looking for. Unlike cheaper toppers, this foam is firm enough that an adult doesn't feel the floor at all. The 80-inch length is a huge plus, providing plenty of room to stretch out comfortably. It’s thick, supportive, and hasn't lost its shape after nightly use. If you want the minimalist floor-sleeping experience without sacrificing comfort, this is the one to get.

Nice firm condensed filling to sleep on or watch TV, well made cover. I think this will last awhile.

My small apartment doesn't have a guest room, so I got this for visitors sleeping over. It's not as comfortable as a full mattress but it's good for what it is! Comfortable enough for guests to sleep on for a week or two, and I can roll it up to store in a closet after. Only complaint is that it can get a little warm for those who sleep hot.

Super comfortable. So much better than an air mattress. Easy storage because it can be folded and placed under beds or in a closet

This mattress is comfortable and I have slept on it for 9 weeks as my dog had surgery! Highly recommend - not one back ache and it has worked out perfectly!

Surprisingly plush for what it is! I used it to fill a the floorspace in our U-shaped couch for a sleepover party, and while we also had blankets and it was on a pretty cushy rug, everyone had compliments about sitting on it and wanted to sleep on it over the couch! I also have an authentic single sized Japanese futon and it’s about 2/3 as thick once it puffs up (takes a few days to really puff up) but still comparable for the price. I wouldn’t use it for everyday sleep use personally (I need more cushion) but for guests or as an extra topper or plush base it’s perfect. I could see some people using it every day if they like a floor futon.

This was my first attempt at floor sleeping and 1 month later I am loving it. This mattress is supportive, easy to fold up in the moring and fairly light. No odour and seems to be hard wearing. Highly recommend from Australi!

Long story short my son is going through a rough time and I’ve been sleeping in his room with him on this mat in the floor. I have scoliosis and I actually have excellent sleeps on this. It’s not just a foam mat. Whatever they have in there, it actually keeps its shape, doesn’t have flat spots from sitting on the same spot and is very comfortable. I prefer super firm mattress so if you like those memory foam beds, this is the opposite of what you want. It’s firm but very comfortable and firm not flat. Honestly, it does not fold up at all (not at all like the picture) and I feel if you did try to tri-fold it, maybe it would crease and not be as comfortable as it is. I store it slid against the wall vertically, flat, next to my sons twin bed frame when not in use.

I was suffering from back pain and needed a firm mattress. After trying a lot of firm mattress and shelling out thousands, i decided to give a try to sleep on a mattress on the floor. This mattress has changed my life. My back pain is gone since I started using as my floor mattress. It has perfect cushioning to save from the hardness of the floor and has the comfort of a quality mattress. The stiching is so beautiful and the fabric is good quality. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a floor mattress

Used for about six months and still a good mattress. Will continue using for camping now that it has been replaced.
