I have owned several brands of countertop Reverse Osmosis machines over the last few years, but none has been as easy to use as this one. It was easy to bring online, meaning flushing the system 6-8 times before its first time use. Assembly was as straightforward as removing the packing tape, filling the reservoir with water, and plugging it in. It dispenses three different preset volumes of great tasting water. It also quickly dispenses 4 different temperatures of water to include room temperature, 115 degrees, 185 degrees, and 212 degrees. That functionality of providing different water temperatures is perfect for baby formula, coffee, tea, or oatmeal. The 6-stage filter with the UV light provide 7 stages of water purification. I also love that it is designed with a built In TDS Meter that is easy to read. Also with a 3:1 pure-to-drain ratio, it’s 1200% more efficient than traditional RO systems. There is only one filter to change and that can be accomplished in seconds and even provides a tool to use for removing and replacing the filter. It also indicates when the filter is reaching the end of its life which gives you a chance to order a new filter that is available on Amazon. The functionality, price point, filter availability, temperatures dispensed, pure to drain ratio, and great tasting water make this the best RO machine I have owned. I highly recommend it.

Water was really good but it was leaking water from the bottom. Had to return it.

I just had this Ecoviva MATE4 Reverse Osmosis Countertop unit ordered from Amazon and received this the very next day. Very impressed with the great packaging also, as this was double boxed for best protection. We have had several Reverse Osmosis systems in the past but this one, right out of the box, is getting only 2 tds! Our water from the municipal water was 185 tds, now it is only 2 tds!! The water quality is perfect, with no taste at all, just pure water! Also this runs so quiet you can barely hear the reverse osmosis running. My wife and our son also love this also, as the hot water option has instant hot water. This unit is perfect for a home, motorhome, or any place you need to have pure water. This is very compact and takes very little space. Highly recommend this Ecoviva Mate4 UV Countertop Reverse Osmosis to everyone! You will love this!! This company makes the best quality water technology for sure. This is the best value for the money, and best ease of use. Very glad we purchased this.

THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT! First of all, its a product you can trust. It's one of the only reverse osmosis machines to come with third party testing results and it also has some of the best filter qualities I found. Value for money, you wont beat this anywhere else. I spent a lot of time researching and this was the cheapest, lab verified reverse osmosis machine I could find. When I first bought it, I stuck my hand in the already filled water tank to remove a sticker in it. My hands were definitely not clean and I chose to drink the hand water to test if the filtration removes taste. I did not taste hand water. Its easy to set up. The controls can take a second to understand but are also pretty intuitive once you figure them out. It has multiple heat settings and fill settings. My biggest complaint is how long it takes to fill up water. It takes long enough to fill up a glass that I often wander off to do another task while waiting. On the flip side, its very quick to go from a newly filled tank -> outputting water. The heated water function is also pretty quick. My second biggest complaint is it outputs room temp water at coldest. There is no setting for chilled water.

Very nice countertop filter machine for cold (normal Temp) and hot water filter water for tea and coffee. Good thing is worm water ready for baby food and formula. So far so good and water quality is cool with 11-18ppm. Nice development in the filtrations and material good quality. Design is also great and ease to use without any extra hassle and assembly. Ready to use from out of the box. In my opinion water flow should be little faster but overall I like the product!!

I purchased the Ecoviva MATE4 Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System in April 2025, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The water tastes clean and refreshing (I could not stand the taste of the water from our new LG fridge), the design is sleek, and I love the convenience of choosing different temperatures and water amounts at the touch of a button. On top of that, the customer service has been exceptional—highly professional and quick to resolve an issue I had with the filter. I had many questions regarding the device, and the company always responded within 12 hours at the latest. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish countertop water filter system.

Worked fine but replaced by a newer model and now you can't get any filters for it. Leakage was only caused by not seating the back tank properly. Water taste and quality was good, but now that the filters are out of stock no reason to use it. Dropping support sucks and it looks like this brand does it a lot.

The first unit I received leaked like crazy. The unit was completely unusable and a piece of garbage. This unit was returned for a refund. I worked with customer service who provided a second unit at a significant discount---so this can be viewed as a biased review. The second unit works well. The water tastes fine. There are a few things are a bit annoying like only being able to dispence a set amount of water. The amounts are in metric while the water temperature is in Fahrenheit. So if the original unit worked like the second one I would have given this 4 stars. However customer service did provide a second unit at a discount so the work is counted as late. Hence the 2 star review. Had the customer service been worse it would have been zero stars.
