This is my go-to for any night out especially. The alarm is small so it fits in your palm or on your keyring which is ideal! The rip cord has a little notch so its nearly impossible to pull accidentally and the alarm in particular is unique because it is the only one I've found that the key ring is not the rip cord, which also helps to keep from deafening yourself unintentionally. That being said, the alarm is SUPER loud. I tested mine to make sure it worked and I am so glad I had the foresight to put in earplugs because this thing could definitely be damaging for your hearing if left on for more than a few moments. That is the goal here, so I really could not be happier with this product. The sound is unique and not the typical house or car alarm pattern so you will definitely be noticed if in distress! There is also the flashlight feature which is a neat little bonus. I use it sometimes when walking home and it's fairly powerful, but either way I think its a good idea to have this little thing on hand when walking home alone in the dark anyway! Would recommend a million times over!

I tried to do a video but had trouble uploading and the audio didn’t do justice to how loud this is anyway .. left my ears ringing as emits a very loud pulsing sound , the torch is allso very bright, if the noise doesn’t scare a mugger you could try dazzling them , make sure you remove the tab from the battery before testing , good price , handy deterrent for anyone that is nervous about being out and about on their own , purchased for a friend that I worry about .

For the price and size alone I think the ‘Minder’ is pretty good (competitors sell similar products at up to 5 times the cost), it is not as noisy as I thought but then I am comparing it to a device I had 40 years ago that was considered portable at the time (it was the size and weight of a pocket radio), it was so noisy that I screamed my head off when my dad pulled the plunger out. back then standards were very different, nowadays we have to be weary of any serious damage such excessive noise might do to the perpetrator of the crime. The ‘Minder’ would certainly frighten anyone aiming to have a go and that is all I wanted. I am 66, have only one leg and in a wheelchair and I wanted it for when things return to normal and I can finally hang up my ‘self isolation’ t shirt and go out for my shopping.A

This product is simply amazing, it was purchased for my partner who started to work late. I thought it would just be a regular rape alarm and cause enough noise to scare somebody or to alert others...oh no, it was so much more. I decided to test it by pulling the specific tab to activate the alarm. My ears began to ring and my eyes clamped shut in response. This alarm actually hurts your ears it is so loud, this little thing could easily give you those few seconds to get away from an attacker. It is small enough to fit on a key ring without too much bulk and it has a separate tab specifically for starting the alarm, this is one of the best features of this product. Unlike other rape alarms that use the key ring as the pull cord, this doesn't and so in the event you needed to activate it you wouldn't have to throw your keys or risk an attacker just putting the pin back as you can pull the separate pin and throw it making it impossible to shut off...If you accidentally pull the pin and lose it then you are in trouble, but for the added security that gives it is worth it The small torch that comes with it is an added bonus, it isn't too powerful but it isn't the worst key ring torch I have ever seen Pros: -Small -Lightweight -LOUD -Separate pin to activate -Good little torch Cons: NONE!

I have had this over 2 years now and I am so happy with the product! I haven’t had to change batteries yet. The noise it makes is ear piercingly loud and makes me feel a lot safer walking around with it. I especially love the feature that the alarm cannot be stopped without replacing the plug you pull out. I.e. an attacker would not be able to silence it with an off button or something. Small and discreet. Have flew with the device in my hand luggage on planes and no issues with security etc. I recommend it to everyone I know!!

The design of these is awkward as you can't clip the device on and just yank the pull tab bit out to activate as it is on the side so when you pull it you pull down and it pulls the device in an awkward direction which if you continue to pull it then you would probably break the plastic insert bit. It seems an odd design and it would of made more sense for the pull bit to be at the bottom.

il suono e' fortissimo, io lo ho preso perche' io e le mie cagnoline siamo state aggredite da un cane senza guinzaglio e decisamente piu' grande, volevo il teeser ma e' illegale, spero possa malauguratamente venirci in aiuto .consiglio compratevi un laccetto da tenere al collo a cui attaccarlo

Da leider aufgrund der aktuellen Situation immer mehr Leute zu Pfefferspray oder Schlüsselalarm greifen, hab ich mich entschlossen mir auch eins zuzulegen. Die Bedienung ist wirklich einfach und auch ohne der deutschsprachigen Bedienungsanleitung verständlich. Die Farbe ist ansprechend und fällt am Schlüsselbund nicht weiter negativ auf. Die integrierte Taschenlampe ist sehr praktisch und der Alarmton ist wirklich sehr sehr laut. Fühle mich nun sicherer.
