AFM/DFM Disabler & Auto Start/Stop Eliminator for 2005-2024 and Select 2025 GM Trucks, SUVs & Cars

This has made quite a difference in how my truck drives. I have always noticed the auto start stop makes the trucks transmission feel weird even when not going from a stop. I love how this keeps that feature off and I don’t have to press the button everytime I get into the truck. I do have to almost learn how to drive the truck again because it just feels different and almost like it has more power which I know it doesn’t, just more consistent. I have been watching fuel economy and think it may have gone down just a bit intown driving. I have only driven a short longer trip but seemed to actually improve on highway driving. I do think it will stay roughly where it was or possibly get a little bit better fuel mileage once I get used to the way it shifts now. Definitely less of the weird shifting with the transmission, more consistent. It was very easy to plug into the obd port and easy to attach with Bluetooth. Time will tell if this makes a difference on the longevity of the truck. It is a 2021 Silverado with the 5.3 and 65,000 miles.

Works great with my 2023 Blazer. Plug and Play operation disabled auto stop/start and AFM with no issues. Haven’t seen many options for this vehicle other than reflashing computer memory which to me is an inconvenience when it comes to getting the emission test done on the vehicle.

Works as it should. Disabled the afm increased fuel mileage and power. Have had no problems since installation. Plug and play right out of the box.

I have a 2024 Chevy Silverado SRT. I tried 3 other brands that didn’t work. I did a little AI research to find what I was doing wrong and this Carbyte was recommended. I got it overnight plugged it in and linked it to the app on my IOS phone. It seems to work perfectly. No more auto stop and the app says it’s running in V8. This item unlike the other 3 disablers I tried was nicely boxed containing instructions. The others didn’t. It also has a 3 year warranty. I’ve been driving all day. So far a great product.

I bought this knowing that it won't shut the afm/dfm until your vehicle hits 40mph or higher. I don't understand why they don't state this in the listing but I already knew this from doing my research. My problem is sometimes it take a lot longer driving at 40mph or faster to activate. I've got my truck up to 50mph for 10-15 seconds and it would work for awhile driving after that. One time I drive 45-52mph for 6 miles straight and it never disabled my afm. It's up to date and paired with my truck. I reached out to Carbyte through their support on their website 4 business days ago and haven't heard anything back. Thinking of exchanging it or returning it completely.

Works like they advertise and no more herky jerky starts because I didn't turn off the auto stop. Plus, in my opinion after some research, I believe this will also extend engine life because the lifters aren't always engaging and disengaging. Had an issue with the device connecting with my phone, contacted the manufacturer, they walked me through some troubleshooting. When that didn't cure the issue, they timely sent me another and it works flawlessly. On a side note, haven't really noticed any increase in fuel consumption.

Very pleased. No more “auto stop” or “DFM”. Doubles as a code reader too which was a pleasant surprise. Plugs right in and works immediately. Works great recommend! I had to take a star away for 3 reasons: 1: connection to the app (not necessary) was a little bit ambiguous. My email to support was responded to within an hour, very good. 2: Either the “auto stop” and “dfm” are both on or both off. You get the impression by advertising that you can control them individually, but you cannot. 3: the device is blinking and active even when vehicle is parked and shut off. This has me concerned about parasitic draw. Overall still very happy that both of theses annoying features (auto stop and dfm) have been shut down.

Works great, turns off the DFM and Stop/Start. Very easy setup with great features. Using it on my 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 5.3 litter engine and 10 speed transmission.

Works good. 2023 6.2L. disables the auto start / stock. DFM is disabled once you drive past 65km/hr for 3 seconds

this product was suppose to fit in my year truck,clearly stated this in the pictures of the product,after i received it and plugged it in it says not compatible with vehicle and now the seller wont respond to any emails and i have no way of contacting them,so im out $250 .Do not buy this product unless your willing to lose ur money
