I recently purchased the JBL Creature system from Good Will for about 5 bucks (awesome, right?). But i couldn't get them to work with normal AC adapters. Pretty annoying, actually. So I finally found this guy. It's specifically made to work with these speakers. The minute I plugged it in, I got it to work. Considering the area I live in, it was most likely donated by someone that lost the adapter and didn't realize they needed a special one for it to work. I know 15 bucks might sound expensive in comparison to finding regular adapters for 1$ at a thrift shop, but its worth it times ten. While its slightly aggrevating that the JBL speakers need something like this, i'm not reviewing the JBL speakers right now. I'm reviewing the adapter itself. Overall, works perfect. No problems at all, and easy to use. Fits the speakers perfectly, no questions asked, and the sound quality of those speakers is in crisp and clear, not fuzzy as though its affected by the adapter itself. Perfect, perfect, way awesome.

I actually have the original CREATURE speakers, but this is compatible, but I checked the specs for the CREATURE II power source and it turns out it's the same for the original one. I bought this hoping that the cord would fit in the socket and voila! I have had no problems with the power source itself, it's worked for me since day one and the actually hardware is quality. I am always weary about buying off brand power supplies, but this is one that you definitely don't have to worry about.

Works as a great adapter replacement for JBL Creature II speakers. Bought a different brand before this that claimed it functioned with Creature II, but the input/output did not match. This one fits perfectly. Thanks.

Just 15 mins to drop from 3 stars to 1. When I turned up my JBL speakers my breaker popped. Every-time I turned it up, breaker pops. I have more modern arc fault, AFCI, breakers that are very sensitive to noise injected on to the plug. This power supply is clearly noisy. For those who do read labels you will be tempted to not plug this in. The label on. the power supply says its 18V DC, showing a DC symbol next to the rating, but lower on the label it does not AC. The plug is also tight, not a bad thing, so you ma think initially that the plug is wrong too. A noisy power supply and an improper label is probably a warning sign to stay away.
