The rg gripper is great. It was cut correctly to 8' x 11' and easy to trim off a few inches all the way around. My rug was 7'10" x 11 so I did need to trim it a little. The rug pad needed airing out but only for 8 - 10 hours. After that, it had no smell at all. I am very happy with it.

I had a hard time in getting our rug to stop bunching up and staying in place on our hardwood floors. This does a very good job in keeping the rug in place. Only complaint is the corners still don’t stay put. Otherwise it’s great.

I ordered this rug pad to help keep my living room area rug in place when my dogs are rough-housing. I have an 130lb English Mastiff and 2 smaller pups that would unintentionally reorganize my entire living room whenever they played. This rug pad does a great job of keeping the rug in place, and not bunching up or sliding around. This rug pad also helps ensure that the furniture on the rug stays sturdy and safe. This rug pad will not add very much thickness or padding to the rug - I really don't even notice the pad is there. So, if you're looking at adding thickness or plush to the rug - this will not work. If you're looking for a rug pad to keep your rug in place - 10/10 would recommend.

Rug pads are hard to deal with and the larger the pad, the harder they are manage. This pad is "puffier" (is that a word?) than others, so has a little more give to it when walking on it. Definitely keeps the rug in place.
