Why am I experiencing "my pump can't press down" situation?

When using the STARESSO TRAVEL initially, pressing may be difficult due to very fine grounds hindering water flow. Use a medium-fine grind for smoother, rich espresso effortlessly. Optimal grind size ensures perfect espresso every time.

Can the TRAVEL be used with both coffee grounds and coffee capsules?

Yes, the TRAVEL is versatile and compatible with both coffee grounds and coffee capsules. It accommodates standard coffee capsules of 5-6g in size.

What are the differences between the old and new versions of the TRAVEL?(Part 1)

The OLD had a transparent plastic water tank; the NEW version uses stainless steel and food-grade silicone. The old portafilter was non-adjustable and hard to clean, while the new one has adjustable pressure, and supports a bottomless portafilter.

What are the differences between the old and new versions of the TRAVEL?(Part 2)

The old TRAVEL had a mesh with a capsule-piercing spike; the new version has a separate capsule-piercing component and no spike. The new lids have sealing rings and a one-way air valve for pressure balance, unlike the old version.

Does the new version of the TRAVEL still come with a travel case?

The new TRAVEL no longer includes a travel case. Instead, we've focused on enhancing the product's performance and features to provide a superior coffee-making experience.
