Barista experience at home
De’Longhi EC900M – A Beautiful and Capable Home Espresso Machine I purchased the De’Longhi EC900M on Amazon, and it has exceeded my expectations. Its minimalist and elegant design blends seamlessly into any kitchen, making it as stylish as it is functional. This machine truly brings the barista experience home, offering very good espresso extraction with rich flavors and a nice crema. It’s also easy to use and maintain, making it a great choice for both beginners and intermediate users looking to improve their coffee-making skills. The steam wand, while a bit tricky at first, produces a good microfoam texture—perfect for latte art once you get the hang of it. It does take a little longer than some higher-end machines, but the results are worth it. Overall, the EC900M is a fantastic entry-level option with enough features to satisfy those wanting to refine their espresso-making technique. Highly recommended!

Find the proper fine to get the maximum foam from the coffee machine.
The product is perfect. You must figure out how fine the coffee must be to get the nice foam. This is going to take some time. This is the 6th espresso coffee machine I have bought from Delonghi, and I have always been satisfied. They make great products. Though I must admit something regarding the product. The product name at the front where it says "Delonghi", came inverted 180 degrees (the photo is attached). I can not understand how the QA/QC of a manufacturer like Delonghi allowed this product to be sent out to the consumers. I should have returned the product, but since everything else was working properly, I kept it. I am expecting a gift from Delonghi for the mistake they have made.

New DeLonghi Maestro Dedica Machine won't descale as advertised.
We were so excited to upgrade from our 2nd Espresso machine which we've had for 3-4 years and still working fine. So, we checked around and read reviews and ended up choosing the DeLonghi Maestro Dedica machine. Two weeks into using it our descaler red light came on. So, we read up on using the descaling mode processing setup on the machine...got our DeLonghi descaling solution out and went by the book on doing our descaling. Our machine will not run the descaling mode...have tried repeatedly to run it. Did the "hold down the two buttons" and then press the descaling button. Nothing. We've written DeLonghi and they sent me a form letter to make sure I'm doing the rinse after descaling...it's gotten Kafkaesque with DeLonghi where nothing is getting done. Have not received a customer service response with any help. My machine is one month old and we're in a fix here on how to proceed, what to do. Amazon has promised (just got off the phone with Amazon and they said to try and talk to DeLonghi and IF they're no help, that Amazon would step up to kick start whatever is going to happen ) Thank you Amazon. I'll follow up with this on monday. Paying this much $ for a faulty machine with no customer service is frustrating. PART 2....I've been on hold now today for 45 minutes...NO CUSTOMER SERVICE with this company. I've been writing about my problem with Delonghi since June....they just keep kicking the "can" down the road and doing nothing. They seem to not cross reference any of my emails with my serial number, videos of the problems. Finally got a service rep with a really hard to understand accent...and they were of no help...again. Please Amazon...help out here. thank you

Great coffee once you find the right beans
Took a few failures to get the quantity and grind right for this one, but once I did it's great. Dislikes: no feet or sticky pads to secure to counter top, small lightweight machine - it moves with every touch. Steam wand will leak excess water every cup, make sure its over the tray...

Decent, but can find better machines at same price point
Expensive for what it is... You can find better coffee machines for the same price in my opinion. It works fine (although I had a small leak sometimes when refilling the tank), but the steam wand is pretty slow to warm-up and there is no 3-way solenoid valve (i.e. coffee still drips after pressing the stop button to finish your espresso). Other brands offer these options for the same price point.

The banged up part.., just adds character!
This is a be long story, so I will shorten it and get to the good part. I can’t say enough good things about Amazon and the Customer Service Agents… Understanding, no nonsense, solutions only! I have the machine I had been saving for so long. It was a little banged up, and missing something, but I did go with the USED REFURBISHED unit. It works wonderfully just the same… this thanks to Amazon. Awesome machine, we read the manual carefully and my son guided me and gave me the confidence I needed to actually get it to work. I love it!! Thank you so very much! 😌🙏🏼♥️

Machine Descales Too Often
The machine works great except that the Descaler light has been coming on every 8 to 13 days since we bought the machine a few months ago. Descaling the machine takes an hour, which is much longer than our previous Breville machines. De'Longhi says the water impacts the descaling process but we use Primo filtered water. They said this may not have enough minerals. I'm currently dealing with De'Longhi customer service and regret buying this machine.

The VIP of the De'Longhi Dedica line of coffee machines
It's my third De'Longhi Dedica and I just learned they have different types (I thought all Dedica were the same!). I had my first one for years and my second one still works and is now at the cottage. This one is bigger and more adjustable than my last one, which I assume is the basic Dedica model. I really, really like this Dedica Maestro. The quality of espresso it produces is at par with what you can get in high-end coffee shops and it heats up and is ready to be used quickly. The water reservoir is bigger on this Dedica Maestro that on my other Dedica coffee machine and it's such a plus as I don't need to fill it as often. I've recommended De'Longhi Dedica to friends for years but now that I have this Maestro one and that I have learned there are multiple different models of Dedica, I'll definitely recommend the Dedica Maestro to friends as I believe the quality of this one is absolutely premium. If you can afford the little price difference to get this Maestro, I believe it is worth every penny. It comes with a lot of accessories that are really nice to have! I wouldn't have bought the accessories individually but I'm really happy to have them and uses them daily.

Solved our java fix on the road.
We get spoiled at home brewing espresso for lattes with a fully automatic machine so I pulled the trigger on the Maestro that we take on the road in our campervan. It took a while to get our setup just right but so far it's been working out quite well. We keep it in a storage bag when it's not being used as it's tight for storage in the van already. I'm sure that there are even more compact solutions out there but I feel that the Maestro itself doesn't occupy too large of a footprint. Could have gone with a hand grinder but opted instead for a rechargeable version that does a pretty decent job.
