EVOC TOP Tube Pack Bike Bag/Bike Frame Bag for Storage Space on The top Tube

I needed to move away from a saddle bag after purchasing a rear radar unit that mounts in that area and I had been curious about the various top tube bags that are out now. I wanted something that I could keep on my gravel/commuter bike that had room for a tube plus accessories that could also easily be moved to my XC MTB for long distance race events. I didn't want a big bag, a lot of them look huge. This one seemed like the sweet spot. I like that it has the cable port. It seems to stay in place OK, but I do notice it knocked off center from time to time. I like that it came with some clear frame protection stickers to go beneath where the velcro straps are.

EVOC Top tube bag is shown with three straps, but only shipped with 2. Not as described. It does fit an iPhone mini (barely), wallet, keys and gel. Overall width isn’t very wide and does not rub my legs while climbing out of the saddle like some of the wider rock bros bags out there. The zipper is opposite what is shown in photos, and zips toward the stem. This makes it less likely to lose things when reaching in for a single item, and is desirable. Bag ships with an obscene about of frame tape. Overall satisfied.

Very well built and doesn’t move around, the straps are beefy. However you only get two straps, even though it is shown with three in some photos. I made my own 3rd with some Velcro strap I had laying around. Also give the body some protection against contacting the stem in a crash.

Perfect size. Great quality fabric and zipper. I appreciate that it was shipped with clear stickers to protect my bike from any wear under the straps.

Too small. Best used as a cycling wallet replacement. Could have given "plus points" if a top tube screw mount option was available. As small as it is, it'll grow on you.

I had written a one star review when the product arrived missing one of the top tube straps shown in the product photos. I really needed two top tube straps for my application.Upon subsequently examining the product more closely, I realized that the product is made so that the straps are movable, with slots all along the long edge. This is a thoughtful design feature that enabled me to use the product as intended. I raised the review to three stars. If the product had all three straps as depicted, it would be a five, with mention that it's a lot of money for what it is.

Bought this bag for few tool items that I generally carry in my waist pack. I chose to mount it at the seat post/top tube. Easily holds a Crank Bros multi-tool, couple tire levers, couple chain links, small Ritchey torque wrench, and a couple small cO2 cartridges. I could also add a few gels or a bar if needed, although it would be pushing it’s limit. I usually carry all food and extra layers, etc in my hydration waist bag.It comes with some strips of ‘protective frame tape’. It’s basically like thin strips of packing tape. I tried it out thinking it would also aid in a little of the movement of the straps on the slick frame paint. I ended up using some black electrical tape under the Velcro straps on the frame. You can see it just under the straps in the pictures. This worked great! And i feel confident that it’ll stay in place. That said the straps seems very sturdy as well.Some reviewers have said the zipper is stiff. I could see how that could be an issue. But this one seems to zip smoothly and closes well.Can’t speak to its water resistance just yet. But the zipper closing seems nice and the material is thick and appears like it would do at least a fair job of keeping things dry. You could use a fabric waterproofing spray if you were concerned about a true “waterproof” bag. But that wasn’t my search necessarily.Has a clean look and will hopefullylast awhile! I’d purchase this bag again.

Small yet very effective...well built love the loam colorway.Over all a decent little top tube bag.

Great top tube bag but does slide to one side slightly, however it does come with tape that I haven’t used as I’m reluctant to stick to my frame. The bag isn’t big enough for an iPhone 11 but is handy for gels and keys, build quality is what you’d expect from evoc though and looks great!
