Improved over the older fast fit gloves, as now they have soft padding in the knuckle area which makes them more comfortable for daily use and protects your knuckles much better from minor dings, much better then the old ones did with just their normal thin layer of fabric on the knuckles.Always buy fast fit Mechanix, they're surprisingly hard wearing for how thin their material is. I've used them for shooting real guns, archery, bushcraft and manual work. Best value for money gloves, really good for detail work if you have the correct size for you. Can really feel the trigger pull and really feel the string on a bow, unlike any other gloves I've tried. Somewhat waterproof of day 4-5mins, which the older ones were not in anyway waterproof and your hands become wet within less than a minute. No faffing with velcro on your wrist, and are always very secure with their fast fit functionality. I always recommend them to people. They're super light to, I just love them. Great in the summer, and for one hour outdoors in 0C they're fine to! Even 6C I wore them from two hours and could have gone an extra two and been okay! I'm in my 30's though, so double my age and probably half your times before your hands become too cold though.They grip surprisingly well, as I've also used them for gardening with pruning trees and even potting plants. Also cycled and chopped wood with an axe with them, and done car maintenance with them. Anti-grease like properties, they seem to not get sticky from having touch mildly stick things unlike your bare hands and other clothing does. Hand them up to dry or in a window ledge at room temperature for 30mins and they're good to go. You could probably wash the dishes with them, if you don't mind hanging them to dry each time afterwards. They have a loop tab (that you don't notice when wearing them) at the bottom wrist part of each glove, which makes them super easy to carry on carabiners and attached to your belt loops, or backpacks. The gloves will dry when wearing them after 10mins from being completely submerged, just from your body heat the daylight (not even direct sun needed).

These gloves have been absolutely solid for me. I’ve used them in pretty much every condition – snow, sand, grass, forests, camping trips, holidays, even in water and salt water down to around 20ft – and they’ve just kept going.They’re lightweight but still feel tough, and you’ve got really good control and dexterity which makes them useful for way more than just outdoor stuff. The touchscreen feature actually works properly too, which is a nice bonus.They’re not designed to be waterproof or super warm, but that’s not really what they’re for. As an all-round, hard-use glove they’ve been spot on.Genuinely impressed – would 100% buy again.

I like mechanix brand gloves, have been using them for years.. I buy a fresh few pairs every few months but the quality feels like its slipping though I've had some seams bust quickly which is annoying. Other than that the fit is fantastic for me and they wash well.. obviously they will absorb oil quickly so used for fry tasks but their breathable and easy on off. They offer only moderate protection, I use impact gloves for chain blocking and these just for housekeeping etc just so that I have gloves on. The palm material is supple and increases grip slightly offering protection against abrasion but not cutting. All in all I will definitely buy again.

I brought these gloves to use whilst hiking, camping, expecting them to provide a bit of a barrier between my hand and “axe to chop wood”, “knife to feather wood for fire”, “make a fire”, “using Kelly kettle for tea”, and general campsite/hiking activities.I can honestly say, they are so good, my brother purchased a pair (in the middle of the woods) after trying them when we’d stopped to make lunch & tea whilst we where out hiking.We set up a little base camp so we could use Kelly kettle to make some tea, then use the hobo stove setup parts to make a bacon sandwich, I’d been singing there praises all morning & then said he should try them, within 5 minutes he asked for the link to purchase some.Between us we described them as “lightweight & comfortable enough, to not get in your way, or feel in any, ANY! way uncomfortable or irritating(as gloves often do), with a quality of materials & manufacturing that gives you, a feeling of confidence your hands are protected and capable of carrying out any job, big or small”, be that a “club handed or intricate job”, with the sense that your gloves will act as a barrier that simply feels like a second skin.Incase it’s not obvious, both my brother (a GP) & I(precision aerospace engineer, biker), highly rate these gloves, as I say, he purchased a pair in the middle of the woods after trying mine whilst doing some tasks, and I have myself ordered a second pair.Summary;*They look great, good colour*Incredibly comfortable*lightweight*Inexpensive*Great quality*Touchscreen works faultlessly*Perfect fitI used the size guide to make my purchase and it was spot on.The only thing I can’t speak to, is durability, because I haven’t had them long enough, however in that time I’ve used them for hiking, camping knife work for the making, lighting & using of a camping fire for cooking, recurve bow archery(practice), crossbow archery(practice) and tomahawk throwing, they performed perfectly during all activities, show no signs of any wear or marking, I did put them through the washing machine at 40*, due to dirt & smelling of campfire smoke, and they came out perfect.If it’s not obvious by now, “I can’t recommend these highly enough”. If you need a pair of gloves for outdoors pursuit activities, or even just as a pair of gloves for everyday wear, you’d be happy you purchased these.I don’t believe in giving good reviews when it’s not warranted, but in this case, 100% will buy more myself(as will my brother).P.s. it’s some weeks, “only weeks!”, and I have brought another pair in black, to throw into my daily use ruc-sac…

Great pair of gloves that are comfortable to wear and fit well. The FastFit design makes them easy to put on and take off, and they still give good dexterity for working with tools.They feel durable and well made, and the touchscreen fingertips are useful for using a phone without taking them off. Overall a reliable pair of work gloves for everyday use.

Nice gloves which are lightweight and breathe well so you don't get too hot. Great value considering how well built they are.

Good gear

I’ve purchased 2 pairs of these & fingers have ripped after only a week at work.They clearly are no good for working with a ratchet. Very comfy though, fast fit yeah, just can’t handle heavy work just light manual work.

9.5 out of 10 on the fit. 10 out of 10 on comfort and breathability. Unsure on durability and life of use as i havent had the chance to put through the paces. But these arent for heavy duty or impact protection. Good shooting gloves or for just protecting the pads of hands. Cheap enough to replace. I have medium size hands, not slender or meaty. These fit well without slack anywhere. Good to go. Happy purchase. Going to order 2 more.
