Tamagotchi Original - Lovely Angel

Just as I remember. Fun little toy. Brought back lots of memories.

What a fun gift for a 33 year old! My co-worker was having a birthday, she's a bit of a quirky type. I found this Tamagotchi Original - Avocado Mix and knew it was perfect for her crunchy-granola vibe. She loved it! We had so much fun getting it all set up and the office staff checking in to see how her "baby" was growing. It is still a good quality, fun product. As we age it is a little harder to see that little screen.

So it was very fun to play with, it's like a little digital pet you have to take care of. It beeps when it needs something.SCROLL DOWN IF YOU WANT A SHORT HELPFUL GUIDE ON HOW TO CARE FOR IT :) vvvWHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR/TIPS & TRICKS:- A button is the button on the left. B button is the button in the middle. C button is the button on the right.- If it isn't taken good care of, the pet will 'die' aka it flys back up to its home planet. You can get a new one if you reset but it isn't the same pet and if your kid is below 9 they will most likely become distraught over it dying- If you feed it too many snacks (the cake) it will die before it turns into a teenager! You can feed it the burger only.- If it isn't disciplined or played with enough or it's weight is too high it will grow up to become an unattractive bad mannered alien.- When it needs something, it beeps. You can silence it (although that is the #1 leading cause of tamagotchi deaths) but if your children go to school then you need to take care of it while they are at school, unless you want them to be checking their tamagotchi every 10 minutes or having it beep. If they are in middle school or higher, then they can put it on their backpack and check it between periods/at lunch time.- Discplining it is clicking the button with the little head that's speaking/yelling. If it beeps even though its hunger and happiness is full, you need to click that button to discipline it. The more you discipline, the less it will beep when not needed which is what we want. You also need to discipline it if it refuses to eat when hungry or play when unhappy.- HERE'S HOW TO PLAY THE GAME: When you click the play button, a number will appear on the left. If you think the number on the right (there is no number on the right YET) will be higher then it, click the B button. If you think the number that the number on the left will be higher then the number that will appear on the right, click the A button.- All the responsibilities might seem a little stressful, right? But as your tamagotchi grows up, it will become less maintenance.- It will eventually die of natural age LUCKILY things you can do to increase its lifespan are:- Keep in tiptop shape. My rule of thumb is even when it doesn't beep, check every 10-15 minutes. If a heart is gone for HUNGRY or HAPPINESS play with it or feed it!- Play with it. As much as possible. Not a lot but I'd recommend 30 minutes of play total a day. Playing with it also keeps its weight down, and the more it weighs the less it'll live :(- Only discipline when necessary!

I purchased this for my daughter as a nostalgic gift. The size is the same as before and it’s easy to use. The quality is good as well.

Really good for what it is. Taking care of the little pets is quite fun, and the battery lasted about 2 years before it died in mine (which, is also easily replaceable; it's just a watch battery). The LCD screen is also quite legible, even without a backlight (though, you cannot play with it in the dark, unfortunately). One thing I wish was a feature is volume control, the buzzer is quite loud, which would be fine if it wasn't integral to gameplay. But, maybe that's part of the challenge, who knows.

not as needy as i remember! you can also mute the tamohatchi by holding down the A and C buttons when needed. it’s fun to have on you and for the value it’s a great digital simple pet. It’s exactly how i remembered tamagotchis being when i was younger except it not being backlit

The Sakura Tamagotchi Original made my child very happy, and I was delighted to see that. Looking back at this 2025 purchase, the most important part for me is the pleasure it brought to my child and the happiness I felt in return.This review is for the Sakura version of the Original range. The different names and designs can make it helpful to identify exactly which Tamagotchi someone is reviewing. My comments are about our positive experience with this one. It was a choice that made my child happy, and that is what I most wanted from something purchased for them. I am very pleased with that result and feel that five stars reflects our experience.

I'm so happy about my Tamagotchi gen 1 Sakura that arrived in good condition safely and secure. It's just like the one I had many many years ago but not the same design. I'm super impressed with the delivery it arrived a week earlier. Thank you very much.

I just bought it to look at it and you're probably reading this review because you want to do the same. Very pretty little Tama. Can't comment on the game play because, as I said, I bought this pretty little Tama just to look at it. It's currently on display in my room. A+ would recommend you buy one to look at it too.Oh! I have read that if you do play it, don't feed it snacks until it's an adult or you greatly increase the chances of killing it and you may be arrested by the Tama police before you can even reset the device.

Good and original one

The Tamagotchi I got for my 6-year-old niece has been a huge hit! It's fun, easy for her to use, and teaches responsibility in a playful way. Highly recommended for young kids who love interactive toys!

Just like how I remembered... annoying to look after and dies so quick! Best nostalgia ever! Great condition and works perfectly!
