Prices fluctuate regularly and I recommend shopping around and comparing what’s available to get your best deal on the date you decide to buy.These wooden applicators are intended for applying hair removal hot wax. I don't use them for this, but I use them to mix things like epoxy, small batches of paint, or other “shop type” uses. Foir this, I find them very handy. They could also be used for arts and crafts projects. Theyr’re basically extra wide, large popsicle sticks.The quality is fine for their intended use. They're about 6 inches long, appear flat, with no visible warping, consistent in color and size, and are smooth to the touch (no splinters). They came packaged in a box of 100. They are handy disposable sticks to keep around.I rate them five stars.I rate products according to the following scale:1 Star: Do not buy. Very poor quality, functionality, or other issues.2 Stars: Do not buy. Not as bad as a 1 Star, but it still has major downsides.3 Stars: There are some issues as described in my review. Use these for sugar waxing and they work like a charm.

These are just as I expected, thin tongue depressors. I got them for crafts for my kids, they are thin, but stiff, not really flexible. They are just under 3/4 inch wide, and 6 inches long. They are mostly smooth, I'm not worried about getting splinters. They'll work great for what I got them for.

First off, there were only 99 tongue depressors in the box, but that's not a big deal. As soon as I opened the box I could tell that these were not great quality, since the ends were rough and uneven. Some of them are perfectly fine, but many are chipped or even have small splinters. These would be fine for applications that do not require them to look good, but I wouldn't recommend them for any crafts where you want nice-looking sticks. I also would not use them for anything that requires contact with delicate skin, such as putting on makeup or lotion. My husband uses tongue depressors to apply cream to parts of his back that he can't reach with his hand. This is what I had originally purchased these for, but he won't be able to use most of them because of the risk of splinters or scratching. However, I will be able to find other uses for them.

Perfect for waxing and kids crafts. Will buy again.
