Excellent at keeping dry inside: survived a flood
Update: We literally had a flood this week. This box was outside the side door of my garage where water was flooding into my garage. This box was sitting in 4" of water for half a day. The inside was completely dry. I am REALLY REALLY impressed!!! We've had a lot of rain lately and I just realized I sat this box right under the edge of my carport where the rain runs off the roof directly on it. Not a drop of water has gotten inside! Looks Well Made and Price Was Right
We haven't installed this outside yet, but this box looks well made, well thought out and it was priced right for us. It's designed for you to use your own outlet strip and has 8 ports in or out of the box, so cord length is dependent on what you have plugged in to it. It can be mounted on a wall or post or sit on a flat surface, making it really versatile in how it's used. It appears that it would be most resistant to water if it was mounted properly on a wall or post. It does have rubber grommets on the in/out ports that decrease the likelihood of moisture coming into the box. The size is perfect for what we are using it for and won't be too obvious. It looks like it would be very neat and organized when installed.

Working wonderfully - wish I had bought it sooner
I had three instances of adapters shorting due to water exposure. No hack i came up with kept the adapters dry during big rains. This box has been great. It's buried a few feet underground, and I've had zero issues with the adapters getting wet.

Does the job
Not made of thick plastic but does the job, and closes tightly.

Good quality and fits built a battery pack with it
Used this as a battery box for a 24v 18ah battery pack for a UPS and fits all four batteries perfectly. It feels sturdy and the latches close smoothly. The mounting holes on the back are isolated from the interior box so no need to worry about water getting in through there.

It is perfect for our needs. We needed a large one for our pool pump cord. It is very large and oddly shaped. It’s water proof also, so that is something we didn’t have to worry about.
