I desperately wanted to love these but the waistband came off.
I bought these in 2XL on Aug 5th, 2018. I paid $26.99. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and ride a motorcycle daily. I don't own a car. 120F gets a bit warm, and when your bike is black, there can be some thigh burning. I wear heavy weight carhartt type pants to ride in. The thick fabric helps with road debris, abrasions, and heat but it is scratchy. I also am more than done with underwear crawling up my...you get the idea. I tried a few brands and hated the exposed elastic waistband, the sneaky shapewear pretending to be comfy pants or the absolute crap construction. I had SUPER high hopes for these after all the reviews. But four months in and all of them fell apart in the exact same way. Let me break it down:Pros:*Roomy fit, if maybe a little too loose but I was ok with it.*really soft fabric.*Long legs. These weren't glorified cheeky panties.*light material that breathes well*stayed putCons:*After a few washes they got looser. I wouldn't wear them under a dress for fear I'd be naked but since I wear pants almost exclusively, it wasn't a big deal.*The lighter pairs got dingy really fast. I got a black, a pink and I couldn't tell you if it was supposed to be tan or gray but now is just some kind of ugh.THE DEALBREAKER:*After only 4 months, they fell apart. The fabric in the crotch started "giving" at the seams, and the waistband literally fell off. It was like it was only glued in or something? There is one main seam that runs vertically and that is the only thing that is holding the loop of material on. The panties now have pretty much just an unfinished top edge and this odd loose loop of fabric with a tacky side.Really disappointed that the quality was pretty much crap.

The first package I bought years ago was great, but they’ve changed
REVIEW UPDATED: Initial review: These are wonderful! They are super comfy and are the perfect amount of high-rise. I love the fabric, very breathable. I got these because I’m trying to get away from basic hipster cotton panties (because of the underwear lines) and these underwear do just that - no lines! I also have some laser-cut silk seamless hipsters but those move around too much throughout the day. These stay up and stay in place even when I work out which was perfect. The only complaint I have is there is a seam in the middle of the rear up to the waist. It shapes my bottom nicer but the seam can get uncomfortable and feel more like a thong which I don’t like wearing.I’m 5’9” and 140 lbs. About 25” waist 35” hips. I read the reviews that medium may be too big so I got the small and they fit perfectly.Update: you guys! I bought another pack of these a couple months ago (it’s now the middle of 2020) and they changed the design! The underwear used to be nice and stretchy all the way up but now they’ve added a tight waist band that makes them uncomfortable! I’m so sad these were perfect before (some people complained they were too stretchy to offer support, but they’re not shapewear, they’re supposed to just be comfortable underwear). I wish I could order another package of the original design. I’m really disappointed they changed.

These run quite large and the fabric is thin and too stretchy to offer support.
THE SIZEI'm 5'3" and weigh 130 pounds, so I'm definitely not a size small. I bought these in medium, but they were much too large...to the point that they kept sliding down.THE STYLEI found the cut of these rather strange. I'm fairly high-waisted, but the waistband came up nearly to my bra line.THE FABRICIt was much thinner than I expected and far too stretchy. I mean, there's not much point in wearing this style of underwear unless it's supportive, right? Even if I bought a small, I don't see that this type of fabric would offer any support at all. I also didn't care for the feel of the fabric; it was a bit rough.THE RESULTI'm returning them.

Repeat buyers, beware!
These briefs were my absolute favorite. I pretty much wore nothing else, lightweight, comfortable and breathable. Great for summer under shorts, great under dresses etc. I was horrified when they weren’t available for several months. I kept checking back. When I saw they were available again I quickLy ordered several packs. When I opened them up I immediately noticed some changes; the wide waste band was now thin and there was a seam down the middle of the front as well as as the seam down the back that has always been there. I was not happy about the changes but thought they would probably be alright. I was wrong. When I put them on I realized the the bottom hem on the legs was also narrower and tighter (creating cellulite dimples that are visible with shorts etc... Also the narrower waste band now rolls and creates a tourniquet type affect producing a muffin top. I really don’t have much of a muffin top normally, but I do in the newly redesigned version. The seam down the front really isn’t creating a problem now, but I don’t see the purpose of it and once the printed label wears off, I won’t be able to tell the back from the front (the only way I can tell on my old well broken in briefs). Actually I’m not even sure the new ones will get worn enough to ever loose the printed label. I put a pair on today and promptly took them off and donned a pair of old style. The new briefs will likely stay in the bottom of my underwear drawer and only be worn when I am desperate for clean underwear. I guess I will be back to looking for new favorite boxer briefs.Tan: colored are the old style with wide waste band and no front seam, round crotch and loose legs. Black: new style with Narrow waste band, front seam, pointed crotch panel and tight leg cuffs.

The underwear you thought didn't exist!
It has been YEARS since I was happy with my underwear. These fit beautifully, are light as a feather (very important during a Florida summer), don't leave panty lines and when I wash them (I use woolite in the sink and air dry them) they are ready to go again in a few hours. I highly recommend these to anyone - no conditions necessary. I'll be purchasing more soon!
