which was sweet because kids lost it all the time
Package was in Amazon standard. Opened it up there are two little strings that could attached to the walkie talkie, which was sweet because kids lost it all the time. With the string, they could hand it on their neck and walk around. Functions are good, just follow instructions and it works well. I tried to walk around my house and signals are good. I would like to try next time when we go to park or camps to make the distance farther. Very handy and worth play with.

So far it's perfect!
Just got these-- they are perfect for my 6yo. Wanted a way to keep in touch when she's at a neighbors house. Came with a neck lanyard- and the sound quality is really good. Gonna try with another friend soon (who lives about a mile away in another neighborhood)-- to confirm they work outside of our direct area... I'll update if any issues :)

Hours of fun
My kids loved these walkie/talkies. They have been using to communicate from upstairs to downstairs to backyard. No problem with it. But once we heard a man talking in Spanish lol. So the radio/sound frequencies or stations might be mixing. Just be careful what you are talking with lol. Great toy option. Hours of fun!

Love these walkies!
Actually got these for my husband so that we could talk to each other while working around the house and outside. The sound is clear and the buttons are easy to use (which sounds dumb but there are plenty of walkie talkies out there that are not easy, sound horrible, and are annoying.) They're small and we've already dropped them a few times so they're pretty durable. Definitely a great purchase for the price.

Poor Quality
They seemed promising until putting the batteries in. The battery contact between the spring (-) and contact plate (+) is very poor. You have to leave the battery cover plate off and hold the batteries down to force contact to get them to work. I would not recommend this.
