Does What it Promises
It is a steel escutcheon, sized to work with 1/2" copper pipe. I needed to use it behind a Speakman slip-on tub spout. The problem I had with the spout is that it pushed the pipe coming out of the wall back, and it would spring back, leaving a gap between the spout and the wall.This escutcheon held the pipe firmly, so when I pushed it against the wall, it held the pipe out all the way as the spout slipped over it. It was too big to fit behind the tub spout but I was able to trim it back using a pair of large diagonal cutters, and it survived the trimming without falling apart or getting bent or anything.Recommended.

Great
I use these all the time doing rental house renovations, so stopped by a big box store to pick up a couple. 5 BUCKS A PIECE?! Never paid much attention to the price before, but when did they get so expensive?This 10-pack is just what I needed and will last me through a couple more houses. One star off because one of the ten had a big dent in it. So, nine for the price of ten, but I'll buy again when I need some more.

Decent quality, not too thin
I had to return another product because it was not only the wrong size but really thin metal. I had to put these through a bandsaw to trim them and they didn't deform!
