I want to connect this to my mobile phone via a 3.5mm jack and yhen dangle it in my jacuzzi so i can hear whilst my head is submerged

The speaker requires an amplifier to operate. You can then connect your device via the jack. The speaker only needs around 20w of power so only needs a small amplifier. Nigel
