When it first came I thought it was pretty but no way could it keep coffee hot. I put 200 degree water in it and in my regular ceramic cup. In ten minutes I took their temperature. 192 for new cup and 179 for old. I got distracted and it was almost an hour later when I got back to my experiment. New cup was z comfortable to drink 165 and the other cold. Sp I am very happy with it,

This is such a great find. Never that a stupid coffee cup would impress me enough to write a review, but this one did. Bought this cup over four months ago, use it everyday and it still looks like the day I received. The finish is high quality. The lid seal easily but does not leak. Most important is the lid doesn’t feel like a sippy cup, it fells natural to drink out of it. But this is what really blows me away about this cup – it’s very thin rimmed, which I like, but it keeps you hot drink HOT for a very long time. I didn’t realize this until I had fixed myself a cup of coffee and then was called to a four-hour meeting. Over four hours later, when I got back to my desk, my coffee was still pleasantly warm. You will be happy that you purchased this cup, I’m getting more of them.

I LOVE this mug! I like drinking out of a mug with a handle better than the typical no handle travel mugs. I was sick of my coffee getting cold in a normal mug so I tried using a beverage warmer. That was a flop as it would take forever to warm and then almost burn the coffee at the end. So I was on the hunt and came across this mug and couldn’t be happier! It keeps my coffee warm for several hours. I wish they made this mug in a larger size as it’s only 14 oz so days I make lattes I can’t fit it all in this cup. Overall I would recommend this cup to anyone that enjoys drinking out of a mug style but wants their coffee to stay warm for hours!

I used this mug for the first time this morning and ended up burning my lips really bad! The design of the lid is horrible... the liquid comes out slowly at first and then all at once, which splashed scalding hot coffee all over my mouth. I would not recommend this mug to anyone!

Mug arrived early with no problems with the wrapping or anything. The color is great, (I bought the teal green one) and it cleans up great! I only gave it 4stars for two reasons 1) I wish it was just a tad bigger (I like big coffee mugs) & 2) I wish it kept the coffee steaming hot a little longer, (I like to have to sip at my coffee and also I’m a nurse, so I’m often called to do one thing or another and by the time a get to drink my coffee it could be a couple hours! It does keep it hot a while but again I like my hot hot! ) it’s a great mug though and I use it daily, so I do recommend it!!

Easy to hold and keeps he coffee hot. However the enamel coating is bubbled.

I’ve used this for one day so far.. I had to take the lid off just to let it cool down before I could drink it! I’d say it definitely keeps your coffee warm! This is exactly why I bought one because I was tired of my coffee getting cold before I finished it!I removed a star because the lip on one side is rough (pictured). You can’t notice it when the lid is on though.

I've been looking for a cup that REALLY keeps beverages hot. Searched around and found this Townie Insulated Coffee Mug. Sighed, and thought I'd give it a try though not really thinking it would meet my expectations. I was wrong! I made the coffee at 5a.m. and at 9:00 a.m. it's still warm. Not hot, but drinkably warm. And it kept it hot for hours. It's an easy to clean cup that won't stain and the handle is comfortable to hold.

I really like these mugs. They do what I need them to - keep my coffee hot for a couple of hours. The mugs have a good lightweight feel to them. The lids are good and stay on quite tightly. Why pay more for the Yeti name?

Just received my 2pack midnight blue mugs and v disappointed that the metallic lip where the outer blue coating and the inner ring join has sharp edges! High risk cutting your lips when you sip. Going to find out how to return these. Now apprehensive about another set of 2pack I ordered which is on its way :( does not deserve a star but review cannot be submitted without a star.

I use it for hot coffee/tea. So far it kept warm for 3-4 hours. Not piping hot but warm after the first hour.
