A Handbag Essential for Toddler Emergencies
These are one of those things you don't think you'll need... until your toddler mysteriously acquires a cut from standing perfectly still. I keep a pack in my handbag and they've come to the rescue more times than I'd like to admit. They're individually wrapped, don't take up much space, and are perfect for cleaning little cuts and grazes when you're nowhere near a sink. Bonus points for being alcohol-free, which means no dramatic Oscar-worthy screaming performances from my daughter when I use them. Quick, gentle, and handy to have on hand for life's minor emergencies. A permanent resident in my bag now, right alongside snacks, receipts, and things I can't remember putting there.

Antiseptic wipes, and good ones , at that. Hard to beat Savlon when it comes to taking care of little cuts and scrapes. Worth buying, even just to keep in the car. They’re now part of my field hospital which resides in my boot. Well, my first aid kit, but I’ve enough stuff to treat a regiment. As long as it’s a skinned elbow or knee.

Soothing for a cut. I used this and plasters and my cut healed within about 3 days. Don’t leave near the sun as they do dry up too quickly. Great value for money! Size is great.

Really handy individual sachets - perfect for walks/hikes/sports and travel. Moist, soft and strong. I realise individual sachets are not the most environmentally friendly but then there is no plastic bottle and no cotton pads and for personal use if you don't have a large accident prone family they last well and are always fresh. They provided trusted, comfortable and effective wound cleansing.
