I bought this to clean the coils on my air conditioner, and it did an excellent job. The foam expands well, clings to the coils, and loosens dirt and grime without requiring a lot of scrubbing. It was simple to apply, and the light lemon scent was much more pleasant than I expected. After cleaning, I noticed better airflow and my A/C seemed to cool more efficiently. One can covered a good amount of surface, making it a great value for routine maintenance. Good product, follow directions and works as it it's described. Spray it on and use cap as fin scrubbing tool for coil. Easy to use. Rinse wire garden hose.

This Frost King saved my 8 year old a/c window unit, it was so clogged. The foam was thick & when I sprayed it it came out in a hard strong pinpoint way. It them foams up big but stays on the coils till it liquefied and cleared the gunk. Of course i used the bush on the cap before i sprayed any but yeah it worked great & it blows as cold as when it was new. I'll be using this regularly from now own.

Worked great 1 can produced enough foam to do the outside unit as well as my coils on the inside of my air handler the oder was very subtle lemon scent. and dissolved very cleanly on the inside coils I didnt have to rinse it as per the instructions you don't have to rinse coils that produce condensation and it worked perfectly the outside unit runs little quieter now I suspect cleaning it allows the fan to remove more heat making the compressor work easier but im no ac expert but this is a great product alot of dirt came out of the outside unit I just used a garden hose once the foam dissolved and it gently broke up all the dirt and debris without the need to scrub which washed away with ease. if you have never done this youtube is your friend there are a couple of steps to do this safely one of those being cutting power to the unit before you blast it with a hose so use a bit of common sense.

This product worked very well on my outdoor condenser coil, which was heavily impacted—over 5 gallons of leaves and debris had accumulated inside the unit, and the coil vanes were extremely dirty. Bottom Line For a heavily clogged outdoor coil, Frost King ACF19 performed very effectively. Combined with a thorough mechanical cleanout, it helped restore strong cooling performance without needing professional service. Unit & Conditions: Ruud 5-ton air conditioner (approx. 24 years old) Severe debris buildup inside cabinet Restricted airflow and dirty coil surfaces DIY Cleaning Process: Turned off system at thermostat/controller. Pulled outdoor disconnect to fully cut power. Removed top grille/fan assembly (several screws). Carefully lifted and supported fan assembly to avoid stressing wiring. Confirmed fan spun freely (bearings in good condition). Cleaned fan blades and removed loose debris. Used dustpan and vacuum to remove ~5 gallons of leaves and debris from inside cabinet. Checked and cleared drain holes in base pan. Applied 2 cans of Frost King ACF19 Foam Coil Cleaner directly to coil vanes. Let foam sit for ~20 minutes. Used the attached brush cap to gently dislodge stubborn debris inside fins. Rinsed thoroughly using a hose with car wash nozzle on shower setting (enough pressure to clean, not bend fins). Wiped down inside bottom pan and adjacent top shelf and reassembled unit. Allowed unit to sit for 1 hour before restarting. I got this to clean out the coils on my car's HVAC and it worked perfectly! The cleaner sprays out in a strong stream of liquid that starts to form a thick white foam in seconds after leaving the can. This allows you to shoot it into hard to reach spaces and the foaming ensures it fills the cavity you spray it into completely. I completely filled my car's air filter compartment with this foam and it fully saturated the coils. I let it sit for about 20 minutes and as the foam gradually broke down it drained out the bottom of the car onto the driveway. I then ran the car's fan for 20 minutes to evaporate any remaining liquid. The cleaner has a lemon scent but it's not overly powerful and dissipates quickly. It's just enough scent to let you know that it's present and vanishes quickly the same day. There's a lot of cleaner in this can, likely enough for a large house HVAC system.

Used on a filthy AC I got from someone who smoked, and apparently never dusted. Was absolutely filthy with hardly any cooling. Cleaned with this and it has probably 5 x the cooling I started with. 1rst time I've ever cleaned an AC unit so I have no reference for expectations, but I was thoroughly impressed

It smells good and is super easy to use but doesn't really clean the coil much. Do not waste your money on this product people. Get your coils pressure washed instead.
