This item functions perfectly every time. Seals tightly, provides excellent vacuum, is quiet and it general a great product. Highly recommended for household use, works great for us here at home. I would purchase this again, as the experience has been more than satisfactory.

This is a great food saver. It is small and easy to use. Does everything it's supposed to do with ease. We always freeze the moist items before sealing and it does a great job. We liked it so much we bought a second one for another location. Use them both at least monthly. We had a problem with one of the sealers and we reached out to customer service. They handled the situation quickly and satisfactorily. Their customer service is top notch as is their product. Looking forward to using these sealers for years to come.

Overall, five stars — it’s not perfect but it’s real good and does the job — especially for the price!!! Pros: Great price ! First vacuum sealer I’ve ever had. Easy and intuitive to use, doesn’t require proprietary special bags (so far just about any vacuum sealer bags I’ve bought have worked), lightweight and small (see pic for comparison to a box of aluminum foil). I just stash it on a shelf and grab it when I need it — love that it is not taking up valuable real estate on the kitchen counter. I’ve used it a lot and it’s fussy and uncomplicated— at least the bag sealer part. Has an accessory port for canisters, etc and comes with tubing, and a plastic connector for the port (and a spare). I found a $12 generic mason jar sealing kit on Amazon and now I can use that port to vacuum seal mason jars — great for dry storage and meal prep (especially salads in the fridge — getting that air out makes the vegetables last longer, and I can make 4 or 5 at a time and then just grab a jar and go). The cons: the accessory port is kind of funky and fussy to connect to. Be gentle - the very first time I did it, the plastic connector broke off inside the vacuum sealer. And of course that happened just outside the Amazon return window. I had to disassemble the sealer to extract the broken piece, which was no small feat. And now I am down to one connector — and as far as I can see, there is nowhere to buy a replacement. Not sold on the Geryon website that I can find; I contacted them and am waiting to hear from them about whether I can buy a spare. I also haven’t found a universal or generic version online either; my mason jar kit came with three different types of connectors (meant for different kinds of sealers) and was described in at least one review as being more or less "universal" because of this -- but none of their connectors actually fit this Geryon sealer. Since removing the broken piece, the accessory port does again work now with the one connector piece I have left and I’m just doing my best to be very gentle and also not to lose that connector, since I don't have a backup. Overall tho -- still recommend -- love this sealer tho and I use it often. I think it's a great bargain and nice to have to prepare for the apocalypse or whatever.

Not the strongest suction but gets the job done when used properly.

I was going to give this a 3 because the machine I got was acting up, the “canister” mode activates without me pressing it and it can’t be stopped, so I’d need to unplug the machine before trying again. I’d have to do it 2-3 times before I can actually finish a vac seal. I unfortunately realized too late that my return window has closed. So I decided to reach out directly to the seller and they guided me through a thorough troubleshooting process. As that didn’t fix the problem they offered to send me a new machine, free of charge. So I’m keeping it at 5 stars because other than the problem with the canister mode, the vac seal is very strong and the process is straight forward and simple to do. It’s also not so bulky so it’s easy to stow away. It also has enough baggies (+ a roll) to try it out, plus the canister accessories/baggies as well.

I haven’t had this machine long but it’s done the job alright. It had NO instructions included and I spent so much time trying to figure it out. You have to fully shut the machine until in locks on the sides before it will work at all. It’s not a press down machine. Silly to not understand it but I’ve never owned a vacuum sealer so I don’t know what to expect. I noticed the last time I used it that the left side wants to come out of the housing area and I’m not sure why. This is kept in a drawer so it’s not been dropped. I’ll keep an eye on it for now. Overall, it’s alright. It does seal and it doesn’t take too long to start sucking out the air but that means you have no time to change the settings either. It likes to switch to canister or dry or some other random setting and I’ve had too many times it will start the process or seal before I can change it ruining a bag. If you can afford the more expensive brand, do it. I needed a budget friendly one and this one serves that purpose but it’s not the best.

Purchased mostly to store hamburgers, turkey burgers, chicken breasts or tenders, I have had fun learning to use this machine. It is easy to operate. You must be careful, as I keep touching the "button" pads while getting the bag in place, and it wants to start. Quick, hit stop! I have not done any fresh meat, but frozen for up to 24 hours, then sealed on moist. Suction seemed okay. I have NOT inspected any bag or used one that is filled yet, so cannot say if the seal holds up. I do most as double seals. I am waiting to see if there has been any leakage of air. Meanwhile I have sealed bread and clearly squished it with too much vacuum even on gentle. I sealed a package of cookies in the "aluminium" type bag, worked great. I find it is way too easy to touch the food to the inside of the bag when inserting your food, or leaving, I guess, greasy fingerprints (after washing my hands) or moisture in the sealing area. Geryon suggests turning back a wide fold at the open end of the bag (and I make mine from the roll), but find I am still having some trouble holding the bag open and inserting the food with out touching a no no spot. No seal. After several tries of cleaning that area of the bag,inside and out, it did seal. Obviously I need more practice. The machine takes up a small amount of counter space, the down side is it will turn backwards onto it's top easily. I have had no reason to clean it, but it certainly looks easier than other models I considered. The 8" wide bags really do not hold much if the substance is tall/thick, so I have ordered some 11" bags to try. The price was right. As stated I am having fun; it's my new toy. Love that it has a cutter for straight lines to make the bags. Considering my learning curve, and I am improving, I would recommend this model.

First time for me to use a vacuum sealer, pretty simple to understand, seal and/or vacuum seal and voila

They didn't mentioned that it's 110 W and exploded in the first use

The product smoked(fired) up though I have used it very very less number of times(<15 times in a month after purchase) with the right voltage adapter . I read few reviews that the product fired up but still I went ahead after watching online reviews in YouTube.. unfortunately I am now Totally disappointed. please refrain from buying this.

It was delivered to me on 18th October 2021 after 15 days of delivery it has stopped working. Sach an expensive stuff is worthless.
