Bottom line: they work (and wash) well!
I bought two of these, one for each of my boys' beds (ages 3 and 4). The work well, as my kids have tested them a few times each and no liquid goes through the pad or gets on the lower sheet. Sometimes I have to wash the top sheet and comforter if my kiddo tosses and turns before waking up, but that's not the fault of this product. We use a bumper under the mattress pad instead of a rail, so the tuck tails don't actually tuck in very well, but they still help keep in in place. So far they're holding up well through multiple uses and washing/drying.These save me so much laundry and also help protect our mattresses.

Best product I have tried!
I have bought two of these now and had great results. My daughter wets the bed about once a week and I have washed this many times. It still holds all the liquid without a mess. It has turned a giant pain of 1 am bed stripping, changing sheets and laundry into pulling the soiled pad off and done. I have tried waterproof fitted sheets that cover the mattress with bad results after being washed. This has been washed atleast 10 times and works great. We have a single size bed and it goes across vertically and cover her chest to knee length in bed so no matter how much karate she is doing in her sleep she is on the pad. I also took one with me on a vacation and used it on a queen bed. I was not able to tuck the fabric around the mattress but still covered the middle of bed. I highly recommend this especially with such a fair price!

Works with vomit! Covers large area!!!
When my toddler went through a puke phase, these helped me get her out of it. My daughter learned to make herself puke when it was bedtime and I tried to leave the room. Such a neat trick! Joy. The only way to get her to realize it wouldn’t work was to minimize the time spent cleaning and have her back in before she knew it. I got these to catch the puke so I wouldn’t have to change the whole bed. They’re large enough to cover more than half the crib!! So when she would sit up, it would even catch bits. After a week and a half of using these, so thankful for 2 of them, she gave up her neat trick. They did not absorb vomit smell after much use, washed up without a stain (magically), and now they sit waiting for bedtime potty training. Lifesaver.

It does what's it's supposed to do
I bought two diff brands. This one and a Priva 34x36 without wings for twin beds. Honestly, they both work. One just seems to work better than the other depending on the child, for us at least. (Explained more below). What I like: •soaks up even the big overnight accidents. I mean, this is the main reason I bought it so even with the "negatives" (below), it does it's job and gets 4 stars. I lay it on top of a fitted mattress pad and fitted sheet so it is easier to change in the middle of the night and less laundry to do. No puddling. No soaking through. Yes, top blankets get wet but that'll happen regardless which pad is used. •Has held up through several washings over the last few weeks we have had it. What I don't like: •it doesn't stay put as well as I thought it would with the wings. It seems to move more with my older kid than my younger. I've noticed a big difference in that. I thought maybe it is because my older child moves more than the younger but after sharing beds in a hotel, I'm doubtful that's why. The only thing I can think of is the 40 pound weight difference. My older child seems to pull it up more with movement than my younger. •The *wings are NOT waterproof*. They are very thin. I assume this is the way they all are, although I can't verify that. •The padded part ends about an inch on both sides of the bed. This isn't a problem for a larger child unless the pad shifts at night or he/she sleeps hanging on the edge. My smaller child will wedge against the wall and that little inch seems a lot larger. I just don't understand why they couldn't add another half to one inch on each side to ensure full overage. Note: •Despite the inch gap on the sides (the other brand has it too-the padded parts are same size 34x36), I still like this one better for my younger kid- less inclined to mistake it for another blanket in the night and it stays put better under the smaller child. •I wouldn't recommend a smaller size than 34x36 for the twin bed and I would definitely get a larger size for a larger bed.

Works just as I hoped it would.
I am the caregiver for my 92 yr old Mother with Alzheimers. There are many on going changes with this disease, that require immediate solutions.Last month she stopped getting up during the night to use the bathroom, even with depends, using extra pads and booster pads, She continues soaking through everything. I hoped this would protect her sheets and mattress and alleviate the additional chore of washing of bedsheets daily. First morning with this on top of her bed, it was fully soaked but not one bit seeped through onto sheets!!!! Still had a load of wash to do, but much less and I am thrilled that it worked so well. This is a great size which covers a major portion of the bed. I just ordered a second one so I have a clean one on hand every morning. It's a great price, very high quality, nicely made, tucks under both sides of the twin mattress and stays put. It's made in America and I'm happy about that as well.

Senior Disabled Dog Approved
We have an amazing senior disabled Pug that is incontinent, due to this she wears a reusable/washable diaper throughout the day (when inside). Her disability causes her to be more prone to UTI's and other medical issues. At night she has her own little pack & play bed set-up, with a nice big comfortable dog bed in it, that we cover with reusable waterproof bed pads so that she doesn't have to wear a diaper at night. She has accidents every night. The reusable bed pads have been absolutely wonderful as she is able to be diaper free at night, sleep in a comfy bed without soiling it, and we are able to easily wash the bed pads. We have found that the Saddle Style Reusable Waterproof Bed Pads are our best bet as they nicely tuck under/around the edges of her dog bed so that she can't nest and move it, meaning she isn't able to soil her bed, only the pad. We would highly recommend this product for any pet parent. It of course would also work great for human use too.

Comfortable and Helps Reduce Laundry
Our son really hates wearing pull-up style night time whatevers because they are uncomfortable and he hates that they are essentially diapers. So we initially purchased two of these to see if it would help cut down on some of the laundry. They are great. We put one on the bed over the sheet and if he has an accident, most of the time this thing will catch all of it. We then just pull it off and change his clothes and he can get back to sleep. The only times it doesn't is when he has shifted around so much that he is no longer fully on top of it. In these cases we are washing the sheets but these pads have drastically reduced the number of times that happens. We have purchased two more so now we have four total. This allows us to have extras ready to swap out since he will occasionally have multiple accidents in one night. These are durable, comfortable, and easy to wash. One other point, these are easy to pack when traveling too. We take them when spending the night with the grandparents. Totally recommend.
