Intrepid International Fancy Crochet Fly Veil, Horse Size

This has been a nice fly bonnet for my mare. I’ve used it for about 2 years now and it’s still holding up. It helps to keep the flys out of her eyes while riding which is a huge relief for her and me! It keeps her calm and more focused on the task at hand. It washes well in a washing machine and it looks cute. Definitely worth the price!

There may be different versions of this being sold under one item listing; the one I got is a great size and definitely a breathable cotton material, unlike what some reviews have mentioned. It fits beautifully (see pics) on a 16.2hh OTTB with a dainty head. It works to keep the bugs away (especially when misted with fly spray before putting it on), ties on securely with the chin strap, seems to breathe just fine even during a hot and humid summer, and cleans up easily. Especially for the price, this is a great bonnet.

Very nice ear net, quality made. Fits NSH mare with a cob/arab head, but barely. Is snug, and will have to make sure it dries somewhere cool and out of sun. Not big enough to fit a big qh head or warmblood. Might work for a TB with the old world classic small head.

Nice! Thanks for stocking these as they are hard to find in our area. Wish it was just a bit longer, but it does the job.

This was a wonderful purchase! Arrived quickly, great quality and price. This fit my average size APHA mare perfectly. I had no issues with the ear sizing or the length of the fringe over her eyes. She happily puts her head down for me to put this on her for our trail rides, as she has a bald face so I believe she knows it helps her in many ways.

Dry dissatisfied with the product. Was tear in crochet area when received, no knot at end of cord to tie o to horse. Was horse size and item was huge, ears would fit a mule. Unfortunately I will not be using it and is not worth the bother to send back. I would not recommend purchasing this item. Spend a little more and get a better quality item.

Only reason I’m leaving a 3 star review is due to item is NOT the color as advertised! I placed order for the pink bonnet and received a red bonnet. Bonnet seems to be good quality but if you want a specific color go to Chick’s website and order the Intrepid bonnet in the color of your choice and for half the price. Lesson learned.

The ears fit my Thoroughbred who has a very "average" sized ears (not a mule like some TBs can be) perfectly. The pink is a good bit brighter (not nearly as pale as this) than pictured (which was a great thing, in my case). Thank you, Intrepid International!"

Everything was good except the movie All of me...a visit tape was sent and I wanted a DVD...not happy about that...

Bought one to see the quality and it's satisfactory for the price I paid, but they skyrocketed within a few days and I'm not likely to pay $24 for a product of this quality and the $20 shipping. I can get a much better quality one for the same price.
