Do you have to use specific bags or standard bags can be used

Mine came with 4 bags. I received it on 12/1 and gave used 2 bags in 3 months so, for me (1800 sq ft of carpet and hard wood, 1 cat), that’s only a 6-month supply.

How do you vacuum throw rugs without having them stick to the suction? Opening the suction flow does nothing to help.

I've found 2 ways to vacuum rugs. 1) use the attachments with the rotor. works great! be sure to open the vent about 1/2 way 2) Set the air vent to 1/2 and set the vacuum down farthest from you and draw back toward you. Do not go forward or it will eat your rug. For each stroke pick it up and set it down and draw toward you. If you have shoulder issues this could be difficult to refer to idea # 1.

How easy is it to connect the different attachments to the vacuum? Is it hard or annoying to switch them around a lot?

It is straightforward. Have to use two hands, one to push button for release at the base of the wand or base of the tube. Then it is a lifting out from the body of the vacuum for use. The attachment connection can be made with the wand or with the longer tube at that point. Either fitting will work with attachments. Returning back to the same position is simple via reinserting the tube or wand into the previous position.
