Aqueon Submersible Aquarium Heater 300W
Takes a few days of playing with, but once you get it set to your tank it holds temp very well. Suction cups have to be put toward top away form heatiing element. If you do not do that it will make a load clicking noise as others have said when it is on. It's in a 120 gallon right next to the input of the Fluval FX4, it does not work hard at all but a bit scarry at first because it's not blacked out like others and it really glows when it's on at night. And the big plus it has not filled with water or condensation at all like Marineland garbage heaters. Finally I can trust the temp in the tank I check it quite often but we can go on vacation without the worry of our Marineland heater failures of many. All (4) tanks now have Aqueon heaters. We are very very pleased and impressed with these, after the many Marineland heater faiiures and returns, there is a heater god watching our fish thanks Aqueon. Our Aficans agree...

Bought 2 neither worked
I originally bought the 150 watt and that one was defective, it never would turn on, no light no heat. I returned that (Amazon made that super easy as I could drop off at local Kolhs) I then bought the 300 watt as it was less expensive and supposedly twice as powerful. Well 2 times 0 is 0 so I guess it did succeed in that respect. Second one preformed exactly as the first no indicator light no heat. Will either return or just not deal with the hassle for 10 bucks and look into another brand.

Good Aquarium Heater
I bought this despite some bad reviews. Glad I did because it was inexpensive and is working perfectly. I use this 300w in my 110 tank. It struggles a bit but does keep the tank up around 76 where I wanted it. Would be perfect for a 50-90G tank. I'm keeping it!

solid for now (not, updated)
I got it hooked up to a Inkbird C929A Wi-Fi controller and I set the heater to 80 and the controller to 76. Just a extra fail safe if the heater decides to be stuck ON the controller will turn it on and off to reach 76 degrees. But these new ones seem to be more efficient as in heating the water, well at least ive noticed it on not as often. Time will tell if it will last as long as the older style ones, my last ones lasted 5 years strong.Update one month laterSo a month later and it quit on me. Once the cold weather came my heater controller started to give me alarms saying the heater has been on for 24 hours which was weird. I looked at the heater and it wasnt even coming on anymore which is total crap. The 300w heaters are basically 100-150w heaters and the price reflects it, it couldnt even bring the tanks temperature 6 degrees above ambient temperatures. Plugged the old ones back in for now.

Great heater for 75 gallon tanks for the $
These heaters are great!! I have one in each of my 75 gallon tanks next to my circulation power head and it keeps the water temp between 78.8 and 79.0 at all times with no major fluctuations. The suction cups could be a little better tho, it seems like they are popping off once a week.

Arrived broken UPDATE NOT BROKEN!
UPDATE: Not broken! Appears to be working and holding a nice steady temperature. Does not have a power-on light, so only lights when heating. When I took the heater out of the box, I could immediately hear a rattling sound. Broken part inside? Sure enough, I followed the instructions and no go when I plugged it in. Now I get to waste my time and return it. Lucky me.

A great heater. Have secondary thermometer.
I bought this out of an emergency because my 500 watt broke unexpectedly. My house doesn’t have heat and even though I’m in Phoenix it was about 66 in the house. It kept my 120 gallon at 78. To be fair it was missing about 15 gallons but I was very impressed. I bought a second one and my tank is now full at 120 and 79 degrees and house temp as low as 64. I read some negative reviews but I’ve been very happy. It’s temp gauge is off about 2 but using my digital tank thermometer and a couple days of fiddling with both of them I’ve managed to keep the tank at 79 and almost equally split the load. They’ve both worked perfectly once adjusted and after 1 month doing well. I do suggest you have a reliable thermometer because you probably won’t get the exact temp you want without one. So far I highly recommend and the price I paid was fantastic.

Not accurate
I like that it's cheap, but I have the temp set to at least 85 and the tank is at 82. No way to calibrate it either. The tank has plenty of flow so I know that's not it and I have it in the tank horizontally because heaters work better this way. Should've spent the extra $10 and bought another eheim jager

Get your heat on ! ( TIPS INCLUDED )
Had the dreaded aquarium heater failure during 'winter' ( early yes but I call -15c with snow, winter) with one of my tanks so I needed something in short order. I hit up Amazon and found one of my trusted brands for basically 50% off my local store. A few mouse clicks, a few hours later and it was at my door. Very impressed with the Prime shipping speed.I've had this brand of heater for a long, long time so I had no issues to get another, this was a no-brainer for me. I have a dozen tanks with 5 different manufacturer heaters and from that I've developed my favorites as well as which brands I stay away from.I'm using this in a main 75g tank, heavily stocked with both fish and plant, it keeps the temperature perfect without fluctuations. The heater itself is 15" long from tip to tip and Aqueon gives us a generous 6 feet 2" power cord length. The included two suction cup holders grip the tank very well.TIP ► On a side note, when people come to me for help with this hobby I always suggest a submersible heater than the older style heater that you needed to keep the controls above water. Having a submersible heater takes away any concern about the heater electrical controls being compromised. It also takes away any concern about original heater placement as if someone fills their tank higher than usual, a submersible heaters controls are always protected.TIP ► While many do know that the heater needs to be unplugged when we do a water change, I help many new people with this hobby who do not know this. So it is never bad to state again, please unplug any heater when doing any water level changes in your aquarium.Helpful, is how I hope you find my review

you're a fool if you don't buy this heater
I know it's not a super fancy high-end heater. Oddly enough I have three of them, they replaced my fluval ones that kept failing. They also replaced my eheim one that failed miserably will put it that way. Two of them I've had over a year I've had zero problems. Not sure what to say other than that seems to be a very good heater for the price.

Good product
I use this in a 60g tank and it seems to be doing a good job keeping the temp where it needs to be. It made it warm enough to kill of Ick in my tank. I also like it’s break resistant as I have an Oscar and they’re notorious for breaking them and he has yet to break it and I hope he doesn’t. Good product all in all I’d buy another one if I needed it

Stopped working after 3 months in operation
Was very satisfied with performance up until both heaters stopped working after only 3 months. Lights come on but no heat is being generated.
