Sacroiliac SI Joint Hip Belt - Durable Anti-Slip Pelvic and Lower Back Support Brace for Men and Women - Pain Relief for Sciatica, Pelvis, Lumbar, Nerve and Leg Pain - Stabilizing Compression

I have encountered my worse SI Joint inflammation yet leading to sciatica which prompted me to finally purchase one of these lower back/tailbone belt. I also did a test by purchasing this product and another one that had looked similar and way more cheaper. The cheapest version arrived earlier and I wrapped this around for 10 minutes standing, but the belt did not help my sciatica - numbed thighs, I felt discomfort and more numbed, I didn’t think it was the product itself, I just thought that these belt are another one of those gimmicky buys and took the belt off. This ActivePlay version arrived the next day but due to the experience of trying the cheaper version the night before, I assumed this would be the same experience; numbing, tight and discomfiting - not my preference. I put this PlayActive one for what I thought would have been only 10 minutes and held no expectations… I wore this belt and (with slow steadiness) was able to do some light task for a further 30 minutes. The next morning, to double check the test for both belts, I wore the cheaper version again and feel unsteady trying to stand up right to brush my teeth (I give up and sit on the side of my bath for support) and then swap for the PlayActive version and my lower back feels secure. Comparison: The appearance of both do look the same except for PlayActive’s belt inner grips are slightly thicker, meaning more gripping, more resistant so, more secure. Which is why my lower back seems more secure. I was keen to return this product and was hoping the cheaper version could work but I took the sensible option: the comfort, less pain, slightly more mobile and at ease, this one is a winner.

It works brilliantly but don't use it for long periods without advice from a professional. I bought one after figuring out my lower back pain was actual SI pain due to hypermobile hips and was using it to help me sleep with significantly less pain for about two weeks. Unfortunately, I then started getting pain in new areas and my hips felt more unstable without the belt on. Turns out I'd been wearing it too often and my muscles were basically relaxing too much. What I need to do is work on building my muscles up to do what my lax/overly flexible ligaments don't want to do, which is keep my hips together. If you're needing to sleep with it on, do you skin a favour and wear something underneath because the belt is soft but it is rubber so you get left with a hell of a red mark.

The belt worked very well. It helped to stabilise my SI joints while I recovered. It made it easier to walk right off the bat. I would recommend it for people suffering from SI joint problems.

Bought for my wife who has had longstanding back pain which inhibits mobility she has found that using this belt has reduced pain and walking is less painful. Would seriously recommend. It’s also good value for money of good quality and durable

Some relief

Brilliant, really saved me, was in so much pain, it got me through the worst so able to move, get up and down easier. As I got better. Wore it at the gym to save recurrence while I strengthened core muscles. I like the longer velcro so you can adjust tightness. Worth every penny.

Hilft bei Schmerzen im unteren Rücken/Hüfte sehr gut. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Best discovery after internet . I lost all hope with my lower back but this belt brought me back . Highly recommended. Stop wasting money on creams and doctors and chiropractors.

Excelente compra. He tenido inflamación en las 2 articulaciones sacroiliacas y esa inestabilidad me había creado dolor w incomodidad. La cinta externa permite ajustar para encontrar el lugar ideal que da estabilidad y contención sin que sea excesivo. Le dio mucho alivio a mi pelvis.
