These are amazing, just do the prep work!
These have worked great for me, and I swim every day! I've had one patch on for over a week, and the 2nd on for 3 days so far. Both so no sign of peeling. With those results for a few dollar item, I just had to write a review. My nails tend to crack and split, & I'm tired of my manicurist patching with acrylic. This is much easier. I think the lower rated reviews were most likely related to lack of proper prep. Here's what I did: Washed my hands with soap & dried em Roughened the nail just slightly with the included emeryboard/buffer Wiped off nail with alcohol & let dry Carefully removed a little patch, lined it up & stuck it to the cracked nail Pressed it on firmly, rubbing back & forth Used the emeryboard to gently file any overhanging plastic off Amd, voila you have a protected bandaged nail that will hopefully grow out whole. I haven't tried gel or polish overtime yet, as I'm giving my nails a 1 month break. However, as thin as the plastic patches are, I am sure with a light buffing they would hold the gel just fine and be undetetectable. Can't wait to show my manicurist in 2 weeks! Overall an amazing product at a crazy inexpensive price!

SEEMS TO BE WORKING WELL
I did what I know I shouldn't have.... I opened an extremely heavy Amazon package using my nails. One of my nails broke, but halfway toward the cuticle. This is going to be a long growing out process, with the potential for extreme pain if the top part catches and pulls off. I bought this bandage and so far, so good. I applied it on my unpolished nail It's sticking so far, and even if it doesn't stick for a long time (not sure yet), it's protecting my nail and keeping me free for pain. I'm quite pleased with this purchase. Frankly, I don't think a glue repair or a glue and powder kit would work for this kind of break. Even if this needs to be replaced occasionally, I think this is giving my nail more support that I'd get any other way. UPDATE.... The first patch stayed for three days, which was more than I expected since we have puppies and my hands in water a lot. The second patch did not stick more than a few hours. The third patch is on and holding. Even though the second patch came right off, this is still, in my mind, better than any powders I've tried or glues. Additionally, if had a been a real bandage for an injury, given the amount of time my hands have been in and out of water, no bandage would stay on either. Still highly recommended, although, given what happened with the second one, I also recommend that you carry a sheet of these in your purse, in case one should come off. Wish the company made a small container for transport.

Help my lame nails
I've always had soft, flimsy nails that peel apart in layers for no reason. If I need to wash a lot of stuff by hand, it gets worse (and I can't stand things on my hands like gloves). I've tried using oils and other stuff you rub into your nails/skin but they don't seem to make any difference. My left index finger tore almost into the nail bed and i wanted to protect it until it could grow out enough. i bought a packet of these vinyl nail bandages and a packet of silk ones, tried them both. These worked out fine for me, gave me 3-4 days for my nail to grow, I removed it and replaced it so I'd have a whole week of new growth which was enough time. I also tried the silk ones on another nail suffering the same problem but right from the get-go, the silk patch was raggedy along all of the edges since it is fabric and I could not get the edges smooth, they kept catching on things which would pull on it slightly so by the end of a day, the patch was coming off and catching even worse so I took it off and replaced it with the vinyl patches. I do paint several coats of clear nail polish over the patch and nail. This works for me but it won't improve the health of your nails, just make it so they don't tear so badly you bleed and expose your fingers to bacteria and stuff. i guess i could have just used Nexcare Bandages but these cover just the nails so don't make me feel quite so smothered.

Are these made for baby nails?
I had a mishap that split the end of my thumb nail the top part of my nail a few mm into the pink. After reading the reviews about using these for vertical splits in nails it sounded like they might work better than the bandages I have been using to keep the nail from catching and splitting further. Small problem.. The are SOOO tiny, the don't begin to cover your nail. My thumb nail bed is 15 mm wide. The largest piece in this kit is about 7 mm wide x 18 mm high. It's shiny so I expected it to cover the entire nail - - it does not. It covers maybe half of your nail so it looks like the shiny sticker it is - and that looks fairly stupid. I am fairly sure it will not stay stuck as it's not very sticky to begin with AND there is too much edge that is exposed to water and anything your hands rub on. For reference, the smallest stickers are 5 mm x 9 mm. The BIG ones would probably cover my pinkie nail, but none of the others. At least they were inexpensive. Don't waste you money .

Just what I need for broken nails
The first time I bought this product, I thought it seemed too thick and like just a clear sticker. But when I have a nail that is broken and I want to protect it until it grows out a bit, this is what I reach for. The thickness holds the nail together and since it's used over your polish, they aren't very noticeable. Nail bandage is the perfect description. They don't have to cover the entire nail, just enough to cover the break. Since I don't use them unless I have to, I don't mind reapplying when I have to, though I find they stay on for up to a week. I plan to keep these in stock at all times.

Very Sticky but Doesn't Stay On Long
My nails tends to crack once I get any length. It's painful and I will use this product along with the super duty polish I got to go with it but just know this is a temporary fix. I had to reapply every few days as the tape applied to my clean dry, cracked nail just wasn't strong enough to stop the crack from spreading. I ended up putting a bandaid over my fingertip as reinforcement till my nail could grow out a little more to where I could cut it off and not be in the quick.

Easy way to fix nails
I have used artificial nails for at least twenty years, but quit when we couldn't get them done during the pandemic. Because of all those chemicals, my natural nails have been a mess...thin, some with ridges, and some that keep splitting. I have been very happy with this product. I find it works best for me if I put a polish base coat on, then use the strips, then put a base coat on top. They last for a long time that way, and I feel like I am giving my damaged nails more time to improve without added colored polishes. The strips are truly invisible if they are used properly. My only complaint is that, because I have small hands and tiny nails, there are only a few of the tiniest ovals that fit my nails, but I have found that I can cut the larger ones in half, and still use them. I have two nails that have splits that would just not heal, even after months and months, but by using these "nail bandages" I can cover the entire weak area of my nail, and really give them a chance to heal, instead of always catching them on fabrics etc and ripping them again. They are truly a great product for splits or breaks in your nail, or for damaged ones like mine. They really give your nail a chance to grow and heal, instead of continuing to break.

Inutili
Dimensione degli adesivi discutibile, resistenza meno di una giornata e non ci si può stendere uno strato di smalto sopra.

Works
So far so good! Like the size selections. I’ve washed dishes and cleaned the toaster oven, and it’s hanging on!

Works fine
Needed these patches quickly for a badly broken nail & they work well. They're very sticky and adhere well. No irritation noted as the nail is split clean through. Doesn't stick to the cuticles well, but great on the nailbed. For the very healthy markup on the product, you'd think they could at least provide a tiny container to hold the patches. Clear patches on small pieces of white paper makes it look like they could be tossed out with the garbage. Otherwise happy with product but not the price.

Works well!!!
Life savers. The stickers are oval in shape, not large enough to cover the entire finger nail. One of my index fingers has a vertical split down the middle and wants to snag on everything making it so difficult to grow out. Nail stickers arrived Thursday evening, I put one on immediately and it's still on Tuesday a.m. has lasted through the every day stuff including one large dog bath, no gloves. Highly recommend

Poor quality
It fell off within an hour, after washing hands. There was no instructions, and what was there needed a magnifying glass to read.
