I bought this to use on the plane, but it's more useful at home. The magnet is strong. Since it can be configured in different ways I use it as a phone stand vertical or horizontal without clipping it to the table. I use it as a handle instead of holding onto the edges of phone. It's not compact and is heavy to carry in my handbag. It was a little stiff at first, so I recommend just move it slowly to learn the different positions. Didn't need to clip it to airplane tray since there was a shelf, but it was tricky when I tried to. It was hard to attach to the tray while it was closed. It does attach to table at home but i don't use it that way. I am ordering one for my husband.

Love this phone holder. I use it every I fly. The size is perfect and very convenient for fitting in my carry on and fitting onto the tray table. Fits snug and doesn't fall off. Great value for the price .

Love how compact it is, and that it spins to clamp rather than being like spring loaded. It's very easy to setup. Sometimes it does like to spin the magsafe part, but rather than fighting it, I just adjust my phone or kindle to compensate. No complaints, have recommended to friends!

I was hesitant to buy this because I didn't think it would fit between the tray table when closed. And it didn't. I did get it to work when clippped at the bottom of the tray table, but this puts in significantly below eye level. The magnet holds tight to the phone case, however if you rotate it off to the side, theres no way to tighten the swivel so the phone just rotates down. Overall if yiu can find the right spot, it serves its purpose. I honestly dont think.i will recommend this based off the 2 most important things not actually working.

I absolutely love this magnetic phone holder! I have many different kinds, including similar ones like this with a spring loaded clamp. But I much prefer this one where you dial in the tightness to whatever you’re clamping it to. So impressed with the function and the strong magnetic hold that I ordered a couple more. I have one at the bedside, clamped to the kitchen table, and even use one outside clamped to a patio chair.

Really helpful for flight. Well built and easy to use. Worked fantastic with Jet2 seats allowing watching phone while table up and down. Also allowed me to use phone holder on bedside while away. Had 3 different phone holders for group on flight and this was way the best. Downside is slightly larger than other options but the build quality and ease of use made up for that.
