Taste is excellent, clean and pure and tested negative for heavy metal contamination which is the main reason I buy it...despite being a bit pricey. It costs what it costs and I'm ok with that because of the quality.

We stumbled upon this salt because of Lead Safe Mama/Tamara Rubin’s independent testing for heavy metals in salt. There are currently only 2 other salts on the market that she has found to have no heavy metals just like Jacobsen’s Sea Salt from Oregon. With there being so few salts low in heavy metals, I was concerned I wouldn’t like this salt due to lack of options. Fortunately this has been a good addition in our home. It tastes nice and the larger texture makes it easy to oversalt things, however sometimes that’s a good thing. We have a lot of salt lovers in our home who enjoyed really tasting it and the larger texture helps. We will be buying again.
