I seem to have encountered the same issue as other customers. I should have read the reviews first, although there were so many five-star reviews I thought it would be a good product. The first thing I noticed is the strong garlic smell upon opening the box. So, the seal was not airtight. Second, my first thought upon looking at the product was, "Is this a container of wood chips?" I see after reading the reviews that this is probably because there are a bunch of hulls in the product, and not simply pure garlic bulbs, as described. No wonder it was cheap. Oh well, fortunately Amazon has a good return policy.
