Is this item no longer being manufactured? It does not appear to be available anywhere.

I called the manufacturer. They did indeed have problems but they've just started shipping again and they said it will be available again everywhere by March 2023. I know that's a long time - I use it for my dogs and fortunately I bought several and still have enough to get me through. There are indeed price gougers on this site. But the stores and indeed Amazon, will see it within the next couple of months back at its normal price.

Is this unflavored? Seems I cannot find the metamucil "clear and natural" or even something like it. Pre-measured packets would be ideal.

I got the Metamucil Smooth Texture Sugar Free Regular Unflavored Powder which I returned because it was definitely flavored. If I had been able to see the ingredients, which was not possible, it read "citrus". The Metamucil 100% Natural Psyllium husk, made w/ real sugar, Original Coarse is definitely unflavored.

Why does it take one to two months to ship?!

The production is behind, not the shipping! If only.

When used in a fruit smoothie is it tasteless?

I have never added it to a smoothie but it could provide a different texture...it gives a thicker consistency when in water. It should be tasteless, just like when it is mixed with water.
