Looks like one of the pre-requisites for opening this thing, is blood-letting.how very apt.The pack it came in had large staples on either side of it which inevitably swept across my thumb as i sliced it open with a scissor's pointy bit.I have not seen staples on clothing packages before and i am entirely clueless as to why they were there, they wern't holding anything except maybe.. the clothing inside.Onto the product itself;You might expect this to be tacky but the rope belt is fairly ok, the hood and cloak are made from a convincing material that feels quite medium-quality compared to other fancy dress textiles.it does smell tho, you will need to wash it to get rid of the chemical odour.The price is extremely good and this would be getting an unquestionable 5 stars if it hadn't pierced my skin when i opened it.Very good medieval monk costume, i still recommend it.Be careful, the staples were not 'bound/folded-in' but 'sticking out/pointy'.Wanted to award 4 stars, going to edit it down to 3.
