Nicely made and works really well.
Super impressed with this unit. Cassettes haven't been mainstream for many years so getting a new one I wasn't expecting much. I took a chance because this seems to be made by Retevis, and I like their 2 way radios. I wasn't disappointed. Although it's all mono (not stereo) the sound quality is very good. Radio tuner very sensitive and stays on station. USB and SD card playback excellent. Cassette record and play although not hifi is definitely acceptable. The Bluetooth speaker facility is nice and I use it every day for my TV sound. The AC mains power option is excellent because it uses an old school mains transformer so there's no radio interference.

Lovely retro tape deck with a few minor drawbacks
With one or two reservations I love this Retekess cassette tape player.Pros:a smart, sleek design with a retro nodSolid physical buttonsRecord function with microphoneAF/FM radio with an old-school physical dial for tuningThe ability to play music from a USB stick/SD card and bluetoothComes smartly packaged in a plain cardboard box - includes user manual, power cable andCons:Whilst this has the ability to run on batteries or with the mains lead provided I think they missed a trick by not having an internal battery and making this chargeable from a USB mains cable. It would be less wasteful and cost effective, and make it much more convenient to use as a portable device. As it it, relying on physical batteries lowers its usability.Buyers will already have considered that this is not going to be the best quality listening experience - sadly there is no aux out or ability to connect to bluetooth speakers/headphonesThese cons may not bother you at all, but for me they are easy wins that would have made this one a 5* product. As it is, it’s still recommended and I’m enjoying using it.
